Q.How long does it take to create a translation?
A.

It will be shipped 2-3 days after application.
If you are in a hurry, please enter the desired date of issue in the comments section of the application form.

Q. How will the translation be delivered?
A.

You can use Letter Pack (7,200 yen tax incl.) or print at a convenience store (6,000 yen tax incl.).
*If you wish to have your package sent by letter pack, you will need to receive and sign in person.

Q. Can a representative deliver the document by mail?
A.

When applying, please provide the name, address, and phone number of the representative.

Q: Can I specify a delivery date?
A.

We cannot specify a date or time, but by using our convenience store printing service you can have your translation printed at a time that suits you.

Q. Can I receive the translation directly instead of mailing it?
A.

Yes, we can. Please select "Pick up at our office" from the delivery method on the order screen.
Please note that if you would like to receive your document on the day of your application or the morning of the following day, this may not be possible depending on the translator's schedule. Please contact us in advance to discuss this.

Q: I would like to apply for several people at once. Is that possible?
A.

We accept applications one by one. If you wish to apply as a corporation, please contact us using the inquiry form at the bottom of the page.

Q. Is it possible to bring my foreign Driver's License directly to the company and have it translated on the same day?
A.

We are very sorry, but we do not accept any applications from you in person. Please make all inquiries and payments online.
In addition, there is a possibility that a translator for the corresponding language may not be available, so we cannot guarantee that the translation will be completed on the same day. Thank you for your understanding.

Q. I have not returned to Japan yet, but can I get a translation of my foreign driver's license first?
A.

Yes, it is possible.
However, we can only print or mail the translation within Japan, so please consider having someone else receive it for you.

Q. Is it possible to have the translation sent to the hotel where I plan to stay in Japan?
A.

Yes, that is possible. Please be sure to clearly state 1) the hotel name, 2) the check-in date, and 3) the name of the person making the hotel reservation in the "Customer Comments" section of the application form.

Q. The letters on Driver's License are blurry and almost unreadable. Can you make a translation for me?
A.

It depends on the condition.
If the address or part of Driver's License number is difficult to read, we will contact you by phone or email to confirm and issue the license. If you are unsure, please contact us after applying.

Q. I recently renewed my license locally, so the date is new. Could you write the date when you first obtained Driver's License in the translation?
A.

If the date of initial issue can be confirmed on the face of Driver's License, you can write it down.
In some countries and regions, only the renewal date is listed on Driver's License. Since the translation contains "items that can be confirmed on the face of Driver's License," it cannot be written if the initial issue date is not specified.

Q. I was told that I need to submit a Driver Record to prove my driving history.
A.

We are terribly sorry, but Ziplus only accepts translations of Driver's License.

Q. I was told by the license center that I need to submit 基本信息. Can you translate such supporting documents?
A.

Q. I recently renewed Driver's License locally, but I left the country immediately after the renewal and was not in the issuing country for more than 3 months. Is it possible to switch?
A.

If you have a document that proves your driving history such as Driver Record, you may be able to switch. For details, please inquire at the license center where you apply for the change of foreign driver's license.

Q.Can I cancel?
A.

Cancellation is not possible after application payment has been made.
Please refer to the cancellation policy for details.
