Review introduction (22)

About four years ago (when I was 21), I went to a training camp to get Regular Motorcycle as the only woman there.
I'm sure there are various opinions, but for me it was a truly wonderful driving school.
That's about what you'd expect in terms of food, hotels, and surrounding facilities.

More than anything, the instructors and staff were all really nice.
They were all really kind people. There was the old man instructor who would frequently talk to me, whether he knew that I was at the training camp alone or not, the older brother instructor who was always smiling and had a gentle demeanor, but who was calm and smiling even when something happened, which made him kind of scary, and the instructor who didn't laugh much and was a little strict, but sometimes the jokes he told were funny.
I failed the practical exam twice, but they encouraged me a lot and helped me practice by myself. (Maybe it's because it's work...)
Also, the female staff member was very kind and listened to me and comforted me when I was crying after failing the second time.

Thanks to you, I was able to get my license and it was a fun training camp. People may have changed now, but I would recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of getting a motorcycle license.

24. Training camp from May to June
Enrollment period is 9 days for those with a provisional license
Hotel is single
【life】
Shampoo and conditioner are essential
Thermometer is required
There are drug stores within walking distance so even if you forget you can still buy something.
Bath towels and face towels were provided every day.
On the way home, I have to bring back textbooks and other things, so I have a lot of luggage.
Even though I have poor communication skills, there are several people I can get along with, so it's fun.
[Training]
I started from the second stage, so I don't know about the first stage.
There are no particularly scary teachers.
In fact, most of the teachers were easy to understand and fun.
Apparently, if you don't get along with a teacher or don't like them, you can reject them.
I had a lot of fun during the training camp.

It's been more than 10 years since I lost my license.
Due to a job transfer, I was forced to re-obtain my driver's license at this age...
At first, I thought about joining the younger generation and getting scolded by the instructor.
I was nervous about a lot of things, but it was a great training camp!
The instructors are all nice people if you treat them with benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and kindness.
The two weeks went by in a flash.
In particular, Instructor Shiina, Instructor Kurosawa, Instructor Sugaya, Instructor Murata, Instructor Takimoto,
Instructor Kawata, Instructor Yamane, Instructor Wada, Instructor Morita, Instructor Satsuki, etc.
...I am especially grateful to Instructor Kikuchi and Instructor Uchida, who, due to my carelessness, gave me one-on-one lessons in emergency medicine.
She was always willing to put up with an old man with strange habits,
They kindly and patiently taught me the basics again.
(Instructor Shiina and Instructor Takimoto look really scary lol)
(I also loved how crazy Instructor Kawada was.)
In addition, female instructor Kurosawa gave advice and
I was nervous, so they were considerate and taught me while chatting.
I am nothing but grateful (she is so adorable, but when I saw her teaching motorcycle riding I got excited despite my age lol).
By the way, it's a secret that I called Instructor Shiina "Kaneko Nobuo."

For an amateur driver to drive a "driving weapon" on a daily basis
I think that putting your body on the line as an instructor is a very tough job.
The instructors I didn't mention by name were all very nice people.
Finally, I would like to remember the three words of encouragement from the principal:
I hope to enjoy my car life in the future.
My way of giving back is to aim to avoid accidents and violations in the future.
I believe that I can be one of those who drive smoothly and safely.
Thank you very much.

I attended a training camp in June 2024.

First of all, the teachers are very good at teaching.
Of course they teach you the basics, but if you ask they will even teach you simple methods and techniques.

The consultation desk was kind and polite, and overall my impression of the staff was very good.

One thing that bothered me about the facilities was that some of the accommodations did not have hot water facilities except in the bathroom, there were not enough electrical outlets in the private rooms, and the walls were thin so you could hear people talking in the next room.

Also, I know it's inevitable due to the season, but there are hornets flying around the site, and wild birds such as pheasants and cats walking around without any sense of danger (lol).

However, if you don't mind those things, I had a very fulfilling training camp.

I would use them again if I needed a different license.

I got my regular motorcycle license at the training camp.
The room wasn't that big, but it was comfortable and had air conditioning.
There is no hairdryer or kettle so please bring your own.
All the teachers are fun, and of course if you mess around or take the lesson with a disrespectful attitude, you will be properly scolded, but if you do as you are told, they will teach you carefully.
In the department, the teachers talk about their own experiences and general conversation, so the classes are fun and never boring.
And above all, the food was delicious. They served different delicious meals every day, so I was able to graduate thanks to that.
The teachers were all really humorous, so much so that after I found out I was graduating I didn't want to go home.
I would like to come back here again to get Heavy Motorcycle and car licenses if possible.

I thought it was a driving school in a very nice location. The environment around me was very open-minded, and I was able to enjoy the lessons very much. At first I found it quite difficult to drive, but thanks to the kind guidance I received, I was able to learn to drive quickly. Of course, it may be different for the instructor as well, but in my case, I had great compatibility with the instructor. The accommodation was clean and spacious enough. It was also nice to have my own space. I was able to completely heal my daily fatigue. Therefore, I was able to receive lessons quite efficiently. The food was the same every day, but the taste wasn't bad. If it was only for about half a month, I wouldn't have felt so bored.

My first impression of the instructor was bad.
Well, it was because it looked scary.
Once the lessons started, I found him to be a fun and kind person.
The whole atmosphere of the school was great.
Because there were a lot of students, the staff seemed busy, but they still provided thorough instruction, so I felt at ease.
I was especially grateful for the friendly response from the staff, as I was traveling alone.
The accommodation and food were both excellent.
I'm really glad I came here.

I enrolled in a regular license with a manual transmission (MT) car. It took 17 days. 95% of young people these days drive automatic transmissions.

Both the academic and practical courses went smoothly.

There were about 30 instructors and about 10 administrative staff.

There are a lot of negative comments, but I think it's important to have a humble attitude and realize that "I don't know anything and I'm the one who needs to be taught."

If you can't greet properly, ask questions, or say things like "Thank you for your help," "Thank you," or "I don't understand this part of...," then it's the same no matter which driving school you go to. Instructors are human too.

There are 4 ramen restaurants within walking distance, Trial, a home improvement store where you can also buy ingredients, Hero, Tsuruha drug store, 7-Eleven, TSUTAYA, etc., so it is very convenient.

There is a restaurant on the premises, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style (menus rotate).

The accommodation is also located on the premises, in a business hotel with both single and shared rooms. There are separate buildings for men and women.

Smoking is allowed, but drinking is not allowed (I started drinking on the first day, but it seems there is a possibility that the room may be inspected randomly)

It was very comfortable, but I'll write about the things I personally think it would be better to bring. Some of them are obvious, but please forgive me.

Hairdryer
Shampoo, conditioner, face wash, body soap
Hand soap (this is important)
Toothbrush, toothpaste
Sandals or slippers for the room
Garbage bags (collected twice a week, but no bags provided)
A small humidifier during dry periods (it gets very dry)
Chargers (the outlets are far from the bed so it would be better if they were longer)
Box of tissues
umbrella

Although it was a very difficult time due to the coronavirus pandemic, we took thorough measures such as taking temperatures, filling out and checking health management forms, making alcohol available in each classroom, hall, toilet, etc., and disinfecting.

It was a very memorable school. On the last day of the camp, the students will be provided with 6,000 yen (2,000 yen for neighboring prefectures?).

The first day of school, we started with theory and practical training, and sometimes we had 5 hours of theory and 2 hours of practical training. The students in the training camp had to change their schedule to take lessons during their free time. I didn't like that. But it's like, "What are you doing here!?"

The school started on December 10th, and in the second half of the year the school was filled with high school students and young people with regular licenses and motorcycles.

Is 265,000 yen for 17 days including accommodation and three meals cheap or expensive? I thought it was cheap.

Thank you so much to all the teachers. I hope you are all well.

Men's dormitory (private room) at large motorcycle training camp
Before going I was prepared because the reviews were terrible, but I didn't find anything bad about it.
The instructors' advice was appropriate and none of them were overbearing.
Students are allowed to go out when they don't have lessons, and apparently they can even stay out overnight if they submit an application.
There is a Sukiya, two supermarkets, a 7-Eleven nearby, so it is convenient.
Thank you to all the instructors. I'll get my regular driver's license someday!

I'm 47 years old and this was my first time getting my driver's license. Thank you for your help with my training camp.
The accommodation and food are adequate, not luxurious.
Everyone is here for the same purpose, so if you can find someone with whom you can have a common conversation, I think you'll have a good time.
There were some unique teachers, some very positive teachers, and some strict teachers, but in order to make sure we remembered everything, each teacher had their own teaching style.
It all relates to the future.
Looking back on the two weeks I spent at the camp, it went by in a flash, but I'm really glad I was able to learn here.
thank you very much.

I stayed here for a training camp a year ago. The facilities were average, but the rooms were clean.
The food was also delicious.
Personally, I like Instructor Sugaya the most.
He was kind and listened to a lot of my concerns.
There was only one instructor who was really tough, but when I consulted with Instructor Sugaya about that,
He listened to me sympathetically and pointed out to me whether my teaching method was poor. He was really kind.
He is my favorite teacher.
I still miss you so much!

I suddenly had to get my license due to work and was at a loss, but when I heard that this training camp would allow me to graduate in half a month, I applied immediately. I was prepared for it to be crowded due to the timing, but since it was a training camp, I was able to attend the lessons smoothly and on schedule. The content of the lesson itself was easy to understand. Even though I am not good at classroom lectures, I was able to enjoy the course. I have no complaints about the accommodations and meals. Especially the food was really delicious. I had a well-balanced diet, so I was able to live a healthy life. I really recommend this driving school!

I went to this Driving School for a training camp.
The hotel we stayed at was very comfortable and clean, and the food was delicious! Personally, it was a fun training camp.

I'm really glad I chose this driving school.
Well, now, that is.
There were some unpleasant things at first.
To be honest, I really couldn't drive well and it was tough.
But my instructor was very kind and gave me thorough instruction over and over again, which helped me improve rapidly.
If it weren't for this driving school, I might not have been able to graduate.
In addition, the living conditions, including accommodation and meals, were well-maintained.
Thanks to this, I was able to spend every day comfortably.
I even found myself thinking that I would like to spend a little more time here with my friends.

Looking back after the lessons were over, I think it was a very good school.
I was quite nervous at first and the atmosphere felt a little oppressive, but once I got used to it it wasn't like that at all and I ended up feeling very comfortable.
I had trouble sleeping until I got used to the accommodation, but eventually I began to feel like I was at home.
I had a lot of free time, so I had time to make memories with the friends I made during the camp.
I think I was able to have a fulfilling training camp experience in every aspect.

I had a lot of fun at the training camp.
I had so much fun every day that I almost regret it was such a short period of time.
First of all, the accommodation was very comfortable.
Not only is it spacious, but the facilities and security are excellent.
I also quickly made friends and was able to spend truly fulfilling days here.
The food was also delicious.
It's much higher quality and more voluminous than I expected.
The meal never got boring and I looked forward to mealtimes every day.
The instructors were very clear and gave clear instructions, and the overall atmosphere was great.
It made me want to come here again as a training camp.
In fact, if I ever need to get a license again, I'll definitely use their school again! That's how satisfied I was with the school.

We were grateful for your help during our Heavy Motorcycle training camp.
All the instructors were cheerful, positive, and gave me careful instruction. The students were very punctual in greeting and behaving, and I felt that the school's education and policies were solid. Everyone seemed to take pride in their work and school.

I have attended two other schools to obtain a driver's license and Regular Motorcycle license, but there were always people who were overbearing or made nasty remarks, but here, there was not a single person like that.

I was able to graduate feeling good. Thank you very much.

Mr. N (26 years old) Regular Manual (January)

The overall atmosphere at the driving school was not very good. The staff seemed busy all the time, so I couldn't say they were able to provide a proper response. The instructors weren't very good either. I feel like I'm kind of tired, and my mood seems to change depending on the day. However, the class schedule and curriculum were solid, so it wasn't that big of a problem. The accommodation and meals were very good. It was enough to relieve the fatigue of daily lessons, and the meals were nutritionally balanced, so I had a very pleasant time. So, if you think about it overall, it's not that bad.

Mr. NE (20 years old) Regular Manual (March)

3.4 points

My impression after graduating was that 40% of the instructors were kind, 30% were serious, 20% were silent, and 10% were unpleasant. When I say unpleasant instructors, I don't think there were any who were threatening or nagging like the ones in other people's reviews.
Some of the instructors and receptionists changed their attitudes depending on their mood. Not everyone was like that, so I thought it would be fine as long as you didn't do anything to upset them. Someone who was using the facility at the same time as me at the camp was always badmouthing various instructors, and among them was one who I thought was very kind and taught me carefully when I was in charge, so I sometimes thought it was your fault.
I went there after reading other people's reviews and thinking it might be a little scary, but it wasn't as bad as the reviews said. However, I do think that it might not suit some people, so if you're worried, I recommend a different driving school.

I stayed in a single room for men, but it's better to prepare the necessary equipment. There was no shampoo, body soap, face wash, hand soap, hair dryer, tissues, etc. There was toilet paper, though. Also, the refrigerator was noisy, so I turned it off when I went to sleep. The location of the outlet is a bit awkward, so it's convenient to prepare an extension cord. If you forget, there are many home improvement stores, convenience stores, drug stores, supermarkets, etc. within walking distance, so you can go buy one. Also, the walls are thin and there are gaps under the door, so you can hear everything if someone is talking in the hallway, and if someone on the floor above or on the same floor hits something on the wall or floor, a dull sound will echo. I think it's a good idea to prepare earphones or earplugs.

The food repertoire in the cafeteria is quite limited, so you will probably eat the same menu 3-4 times during the 2-week camp. I recommend stopping by a nearby convenience store, Sukiya, McDonald's, or Bando Taro for a change of pace.

If it was used as a driving school, I would give it 4.5 to 5 stars, but since I used it for a training camp, I gave it 4 stars because of the inconvenience of the room and the limited repertoire of the dining room. My friends who went with me and the friends I made during the training camp seemed to share the same opinion.

Mr. R (32 years old) Regular Automatic (March)

3.2 points

The overall impression was that the atmosphere was quite good, but nothing special.
Since I was in my early 30s, I wasn't able to make any friends here.
However, the staff and instructors were very accommodating.
The lessons were sometimes difficult, but thanks to my instructors, I managed to graduate.
In that respect, I'm glad I chose this school.
The food seems to be geared towards young people.
It's not bad, but it might be a bit tough to eat it every day.
Well, it's only been a month and a half so it's not a problem.

Mr. F (18 years old) Regular Manual (April)

3.2 points

The lessons were a bit difficult, but since it was a manual, I was prepared for it from the beginning. The instructors were scary at times, but I was clumsy so maybe it couldn't be helped. I also had free time, so I was able to refresh myself even though I was tired from the lessons. There was also plenty of time to spend with friends. I have no complaints about the accommodation, meals, etc. It's not like the rooms or meals were particularly luxurious. But I think it was enough to last about half a month. In that sense, I guess it was just a normal driving school. I'm glad that I was able to get my manual license.
