Here is a summary of what you need for Driving Camp. Check it out before you enroll and prepare!

If you forget the required documents, you may not be able to enroll. Please be careful not to forget anything.
Also, what you need to bring may vary depending on Driving School.

Driving Camp checklist

Necessary items when entering school

Driving Driver's License (only for those who have it) ★★★★★ If the address written on your driver Driver's License (or the address on the endorsement if it is written on the back due to an address change, etc.) is different from the address registered on your resident card, be sure to contact the driver's license center or local police department before enrolling. Don't forget to change the address on Driver's License at the police station.
*If Driver's License is stolen Driver's License lost while it is still valid, please have it reissued at the License Center before entering the school.
*If the information on Driver's License is unclear due to defacement, etc., please complete the reissuance procedure and have it reissued.
Glasses/contact lenses (only for those who need them) ★★★★★ ・Participating with a Driving Camp plan for regular cars, motorcycles, and large special vehicles
0.3 or more in each eye, 0.7 or more in both eyes (if one eye is less than 0.3, visual field angle of 150 degrees or more is acceptable)
・Participating with a semi-medium-sized vehicle, medium-sized vehicle, large vehicle, towing, or two types of Driving Camp plan
0.5 for each eye, 0.8 or more for both eyes, and depth visual acuity error within 20 mm
There will be a vision test on the first day of school, so please be sure to bring it with you if you need it. If your visual acuity with the naked eye does not meet the requirements, you will not be able to enter the school. Please remember to bring a spare pair of disposable contact lenses.
*Colored contacts or glasses with colored lenses are also not allowed.

[Certificate] Student ID ★★★ If you are eligible for the student discount, please bring it with you. If you forget, you may not be able to receive the student discount.
bike Helmet ★★★★★ Some driving schools may have rental ones, but I'm concerned about hygiene and smell. We recommend that you bring your own. Please use either a full face or jet type helmet. (Things with a chin strap) *Half caps and hard hats for construction are not allowed.
rain gear ★★★★★ This is also available for rental at the driving school, but if you are concerned about hygiene or smells, please bring your own rain gear.
long sleeves long pants ★★★★★ We will not be able to provide lessons if you wear clothing that exposes your skin, so please be sure to be prepared. On the other hand, flip-flops, stilettos, high heels, and platform shoes are prohibited as they interfere with operation and are dangerous. Shoes with heels are recommended. This is because your heel gets caught when you put your foot on the step. Please prepare long socks.
glove ★★★★★ Rider gloves and leather gloves are recommended. *Thick items such as work gloves and ski equipment are not allowed.

Infectious disease countermeasures

Handkerchiefs/hand towels ★★★★★ Handkerchiefs and hand towels are also essential, as hand dryers are often shut down to prevent infectious diseases and paper towels are not provided.

Regular medicines/bandages ★★★★★ Don't forget to take 2 weeks worth of hospital prescriptions. Other items that are suitable for you, such as stomach medicine, cold medicine, antipyretic medicine, etc.
charger ★★★★★ You don't need it when you leave, and it's surprisingly easy to forget. During training camp life, some driving schools don't allow you to return to the dormitory until the evening after leaving the dormitory in the morning, so you don't want to worry about battery life. It would be convenient if it had many USB ports.
Folding umbrella ★★★★ Even if you check the weather forecast, it won't be sunny for two consecutive weeks. You can purchase it at the training camp, but some schools may not even have a convenience store nearby.
