I went there for a training camp. The most important thing is that getting a license is a matter of life and death, so I knew I couldn't pass the exam with a relaxed attitude and I was prepared to be scolded a lot. There were a lot of negative reviews, so I was a bit worried, but I thought it was a pretty good school.
They teach me carefully what I can't do and praise me a lot for what I can do. Sometimes I can't do it at all until I get the hang of it, but they encourage me and teach me over and over again until I can do it. Even if I make the same mistake, they teach me again carefully.
Even the instructors, who I barely had any contact with, were friendly and made me feel at home. Even though I was only there for two weeks, they waited until the last minute of the break to see me off when I was leaving.
I was taught by many different instructors, and some of them seemed scary and unfriendly, but once we started talking, they were all really kind.

Of course, there were many difficult times, but it was a two-week period filled with smiles from start to finish. To be honest, I thought the catchphrase "A driving school that makes you smile" sounded a bit fake at first. I really did finish the course with a smile on my face, and I was happy that I passed, but I was sad to go home.
If my friends wanted to get their driver's license, I would recommend this place first.

It's a really great place!!
The facilities and teachers are amazing!
When I went there, they were very kind and polite to teach me!
I was not good at studying, but the teachers taught me one-on-one and also looked after me after tests! All the instructors were kind and cool!
Suruga will make you smile! As the name suggests, this is a driving school that will definitely make you smile!
I think those who are able to communicate with the instructors will be lucky, and it will be fun!
I wanted to have lots!
I love Suruga and it's like a second family to me!

I went with a friend and the instructor was very friendly and the food was delicious.
Also, the hotel I stayed at was very clean, so I was very satisfied.

It was a short 14-day training camp, and the next day there was an exam, so the academic part was also
I passed and got my license.
The teaching is good and easy to understand
If you ask, they will answer right away

I recommend the Leopalace dormitory.
It's only 5 minutes away, so it's easy and comfortable to study.
I don't have time to play. I need everything.
We have everything. You can get everything at the drugstore. It's about 10 minutes from the dormitory. There's a convenience store nearby. Almost everyone passes Final Driving Test
If you do your homework, you can easily pass the provisional license test.
Of course I don't have time to play.
I recommend the training camp over commuting. You can get a place in 14 days, so I think it's the best in the country.

I was helped by Driving Camp plan.
I hope this will be helpful for those considering taking Driving Camp course.

[Location and facilities]
It was a nice school. There are convenience stores and pharmacies nearby. The heating in classroom 6 was poor and it was cold.

[Academic classes, Driving Lessons]
Almost all of my academic classes are on-demand. I use an app called NLINE, but to be honest, I think it would have been better to have face-to-face classes. I can't receive notifications while using this app (if I leave it set to receive notifications, I have to start over), and I have to keep looking at the screen, so I can't take many notes in my notebook or textbook... If you're not good at on-demand classes, I recommend a school that offers face-to-face classes.

The instructor gave me careful instruction on Driving Lessons. Sometimes I am told strict things, but driving a car is difficult. If I don't learn the proper skills, it can lead to an accident. It's better to think, "It's better to learn while you can."

As mentioned above, the academic subjects are on-demand, but in addition to this there are tests unique to the school (think of them as tests of ability). You have to keep doing them until you get a passing score, but if you don't plan your approach carefully you will fail. I stumbled many times in this subject and didn't have time to do things like sightseeing. It was so hard on me mentally that I cried...

[General comments and thanks]
If you are taking on Driving Camp plan, it would be a good idea to make friends to work hard with. I was originally a shy person, so I had a hard time making friends during my time at school.

Thank you to Suruga Driving School for your careful guidance until graduation. I don't know if I'll be driving a car in the future, but I'll make use of what I learned this time in my life.

Thank you for reading this far.

The toilets were clean and the atmosphere in the school was relaxed.
The school's catchphrase is "A driving school that will make you smile," and it really had a homely feel to it.
Although my friend and I had different graduation dates, we had a staycation plan and were able to go home together.
This is a driving school where you can graduate together even if you drive different types of vehicles. I recommend it.

I attended the training camp!
All the instructors were very kind and polite! I'm grateful to my advisor, AT, for his polite instruction! I highly recommend this to those who don't like scary instructors and are looking for gentle instruction. Also, the camp plan has Self Cook, but the nearby supermarkets are mostly not functioning, so I recommend using Hotto Motto or Create, which are a little further away.
Just one thing to note
I think that NLINE, which is used in departmental classes, can be stressful because the videos often stop and the NG judgment is strict. I recommend taking the classes on a laptop computer if possible.

Thank you for your help in the past.
I graduated during the training camp.
I will write about what I felt, thought, and saw in the past two weeks.

I enrolled in Leopalace's cheap plan.
Well, Leopalace does have a reputation for having thin walls.
The bed was extremely hard, and although there was a futon, it was so thin that my whole body was cracking and hurting.
Also, the hygiene was generally poor.
Although I had some tableware, it was scratched, the mattress was covered in black mold, and the toilet was smelly because there was no deodorant. So I went to the 100 yen shop to buy tableware, air fresheners, detergent, etc. It was an unnecessary expense.
The bathroom was also designed for overseas travelers, as there was a place to hang a shower head.
I guess it's for washing your body in the bathtub.
It was a painful two weeks for someone like me who is a germaphobe.
If I can endure this, I'll be fine.

The supermarket is far away, so I have to use my bicycle (bicycles are available for rental at the school).
If you walk for about 10 to 15 minutes, you will find Sukiya and a 100 yen store called Lemon.
If you go a little further, there is a Hotto Motto and a pharmacy.
I bought ingredients at the pharmacy (the minimum amount), seasonings at Lemon, snacks and drinks. I cooked most of my meals at these two stores.
There is no place to play.
There is nothing else

When I entered the school, 90% of the students were Vietnamese. There were almost no Japanese students.
Apparently everyone is welcome, so there are a lot of Vietnamese people there. There are also Vietnamese teachers.
So I could hear Vietnamese everywhere. At Leopalace, there was almost no noise from Vietnamese people. I was able to study on demand with peace of mind.
However, perhaps because of their national character, Vietnamese people tend to talk a lot.
They chatter away in study areas, break rooms, waiting areas, and even during class. ←They did get told off though lol
I was so distracted and couldn't concentrate.
To be honest, it was painful. I wish they would just keep quiet.
So when I study, I either use earplugs or listen to music.

The school was mostly occupied by Vietnamese people, so I couldn't make any friends lol. Vietnamese people are always together lol.
There are no Japanese people lol
It was tough to have no one to talk to. I think it's tough for people who are gloomy or shy. You can't make friends unless you start talking yourself lol
It's fine if you're someone who doesn't mind being alone.

As for the important lessons, there were a variety of teachers.
Someone who answers questions with a smile.
Someone who will listen and talk to you.
Someone who remains silent and just gives instructions.
A person dozing off.
Well, I didn't really mind it at all.
There were no annoying people.
I enjoyed the course.
Also, I have seen many negative reviews about Mr. Zaihara, but in my case, he kindly let me know. I didn't have a bad impression of him.
I wondered if this person was the type to say what he thought without hesitation.
I was told not to do what was wrong, but it was a lesson, not a warning.
Well, I guess there are different ways to interpret it, but it might not be suitable for people who are sensitive to criticism.
Especially young people today have no tolerance for being scolded.

The two-week course was so fast that I didn't have time to play, but if you take the on-demand course seriously, you won't get a message saying you're not taking the course properly. Even if it does appear, it will disappear if you press the button right away.
I think the person complaining was probably sleeping, eating sweets, or playing with their smartphone or something.
If you eat or drink, you will not be able to attend the 50-minute lesson.
If there's a NG, even if you watch for 49 minutes, you have to start over from the beginning again.
If there are any drinks or food in the frame, it will be rejected. Try again.
So if you take it seriously you will pass.
The people complaining are doing this.

Overall it was fun, but Leopalace and the Vietnamese people were a pain!

Overall rating is average.
I can't say I don't recommend it.

postscript
I managed to get it in one shot at Hirabari Proving Ground.
I completed almost all of the mock exams and handouts that were often mentioned here.
I can get almost 100 points on the online exam questions.
I went to the actual exam with perfect preparation,
Only about half of the tests I studied for at Suruga were on the actual test, which made me quite anxious.
It includes content that has never been done before and questions with a twist.

This will be passed on to future students enrolled at Suruga.
I barely passed, but I really needed to study hard and learn everything from the basics.
Read and understand the textbook carefully.
I always take on-demand seriously.
If you don't understand the meaning, ask the teacher carefully to understand. If you don't do this properly, you will fail the actual exam! When I went to take the exam, 60% of the students failed. By the way, the exam center I took was Hirabari Examination Center in Aichi Prefecture, which is said to be one of the most difficult in the country.

Good luck!
