Just under two hours from Nagoya or Shin-Yokohama, the driving school is located in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka City, almost in the center of Japan, surrounded by the sea and mountains and characterized by a mild climate.

We offer lessons that encourage students through praise! Our goal is to create a Driving School and giving them confidence in themselves as they grow little by little.

Suruga's on-road training involves lessons in situations similar to those you will encounter after obtaining your license, such as bypasses, National Route 1, urban areas, the Tomei Expressway, railroad crossings, and mountain roads, allowing you to efficiently learn how to drive, stop, and turn.
The surrounding environment is also great!
At Suruga Driving School, you can enjoy your free time after your driving lessons. Within walking distance, there are plenty of shops to enjoy your leisure time, including ramen restaurants, offal grill restaurants, Japanese cafes, bakeries, and Western-style confectionery shops. Rental bicycles are also available for short trips!
In addition to regular food truck sales, an event is sometimes held on the 25th of each month, which is designated as "Smile Day."
