There aren't many places to go out nearby, but the instructors were all kind and I was able to attend the class comfortably.
There is room for improvement regarding the food, but I think it would be a good option to choose Self Cook and borrow utensils to cook your own meals, or to buy food from a nearby convenience store or supermarket.

However, in the middle of the night, in front of the dormitory entrance
There was a Chinese man making a lot of noise on the phone and smoking a cigarette.
I was really surprised.
I think this goes beyond the rules of Sennan Driving School. If you come to Japan, please observe basic manners.
Also, in Japan, please chew your food with your mouth closed.

However, there is one fatal flaw: online classes are very unstable.
I have to take online classes in the dormitory, but the internet environment is terrible. Online classes are much slower than YouTube, and they only lend out crappy pocket WIFI and no iPads. It's not a very satisfactory environment for taking classes.
Therefore, we strongly recommend that all participants in the training camp bring high-quality WIFI and a smartphone or iPad.
[I understand that it costs money, but since online classes are being implemented, I think it's time to do the bare minimum to prepare an internet environment. I don't mind if there's an additional fee for high-quality WIFI or iPad rentals. There's nothing more inconvenient than not being able to take online classes. This caused me to lose sleep. It was very stressful. You don't need to apologize, just take action and make improvements.]

There were many Patient Instructors, and they taught me driving skills properly, so I was able to learn with peace of mind. Most of the bus drivers were also friendly, and I really enjoyed talking to them during the shuttle bus ride!
I'm glad I was able to graduate smoothly.
thank you very much!

The staff were extremely polite not only during the lessons but also in other aspects as well, and it was so much fun that I didn't want to graduate!
Thank you very much!

The atmosphere at the driving school was very good, and thanks to the teachers, drivers, and other students who attended the same time, I was able to pass the final exam.
I know it must be difficult for the teachers, but it was so much fun that I wish I could forget about it and go back to them again🤤🎉
If I know anyone looking for Driving Camp, I would recommend Sennan Driving School without hesitation.
Thank you very much♪

I was able to get my full license immediately after graduating, so I think the driving school is excellent in terms of the level of instruction and preparation for the written exam.
I would love to participate in the training camp again.

I ended up buying both Kikufuku and Hagino Tsuki and taking them home☺︎︎
All the teachers at Sennan are very kind.
I failed the written test for Karimenkyo Written Test so I had to stay an extra day, but the lesson was so enjoyable that I don't regret staying the extra day.
It's such a great place that you won't want to go home.
The guys on the bus are all so kind too 😁
Next time I'll come back for the harako rice and cherry blossom season!
Thank you for the past two weeks.
Thank you for your help (;_;)
I want to live in Miyagi in the future.

This is a good experience for a foreigner like me to grasp the necessary knowledge and analysis of driving scenarios.

I struggled with the S-curves and stumbled due to my fear of the road, but the instructor was able to determine where I was struggling and gently and accurately guide me, giving me careful instruction tailored to each individual student.
The lessons were fun and easy to understand, as each teacher's personality was revealed in the academic section and they also shared their experiences, making it a useful lesson that goes beyond just preparing for the test.
During the transfer, the driver also gave me advice on driving tips.
Everyone is very frank and friendly, so if you actively ask any questions or concerns you may have about the training camp or the content of the lessons, I think you will have a better experience at the driving school.
Even when I lacked confidence and was about to give up, I received encouragement and encouragement from the teachers, office staff, shuttle drivers, and other students, and I was finally able to drive well enough to get a passing grade.
I will continue to work hard to improve my driving skills by paying attention to the bad habits and weaknesses that were pointed out to me, and to ensure both safety and smooth traffic flow even after I get my license. Thank you for your guidance and advice. Thank you for all your help.

. All the teachers here are kind, some with a mature look, some with a cool look, and all are good teachers. Sometimes they give me precise guidance on my driving habits, and even now I remember, "Oh, I have to be careful because I was warned about that!" and I can drive safely. I still remember the time when I went here, and I have fond memories of driving a Mercedes during highway driving lessons! It was much better than the light car I drive now (lol), so I was able to dream of owning a Mercedes someday! Also, I got my license with an automatic transmission, but if I have the opportunity to remove the restrictions or get Regular Motorcycle license in the future, I would definitely like to come here again. I think it's a great driving school! Also, the lady at the reception was beautiful and kind, which was very helpful!

Although I was nervous about being in an unfamiliar place, I was able to participate with peace of mind and graduate safely.
There were many good teachers, and many people were able to learn because they could ask about things they didn't understand without worry. Even though I was lacking in confidence, the teachers worked hard to provide easy-to-understand instruction.
We were able to use the SEGA simulator to drive in various situations, the training camp facilities were clean, and there were pharmacies and convenience stores nearby, so it was easy to participate in the training camp without any worries.
As soon as I got home I took the written exam.
I also managed to get my driver's license.

Moreover, I was driving on the highway at the time, and when I was told something like that, I had no choice but to suppress my anger and continue driving, so I felt that it was very dangerous as I was distracted.
I don't think they probably have the correct teaching methods, but I'm a little surprised that I paid 400,000 yen in tuition fees and was treated like this, so I personally would not recommend this school.

That's 4.5 hours wasted.
I'm not sleeping, and I'm not looking away. I've spent 50 minutes watching and taking notes, and it's all gone to waste. It pisses me off.
Even if you contact them directly, they just tell you they'll have to look at it again and don't do anything special.
Other than that there is nothing bad about it.
I really wish they'd stop using it online.
I want to at least be able to choose

1. About lessons
I felt that there were many instructors who gave high-handed instruction. "Can you think for yourself?" "Can't you even do this?" "This is no good," "You're no good," "Are you okay?" "You won't pass the exam if you do this," and other such words are often heard. Hearing such words frequently makes you feel very strong pressure while learning. To be honest, rather than teaching me, sometimes it felt like the instructor was just venting his stress. Here is an example of instructor Takaaki. After making a right or left turn, he would complain, "I wouldn't drive like this, but it's okay," and treat me with a sullen expression. For a beginner on his first day of driving, this high-handed and intolerant instruction is very unpleasant, and if we could drive perfectly, I don't think there's any need to pay 400,000 yen to attend this school.
2. About Online Studies
I understand that the school introduced the subject courses online to reduce costs because the exam cannot be taken until the subject courses are completed, but there were so many network and system problems that it was stressful. For example, if the internet connection is cut off, the headphone battery runs out, or if you receive a phone call when watching on a smartphone, the lesson will stop in the middle, and you will have to start over from the beginning. Especially if a problem occurs just before the end of a 50-minute lesson, you have to start over from the beginning again, which not only wastes time but also makes you very tired mentally. Personally, I spent at least 4 hours rewatching. Even when I consulted the front desk, they just said, "There's nothing you can do, so please start over from the beginning."
3. Meals
Although it is stated that three meals a day are provided during the camp, there is actually no cafeteria, and almost the same lunch box is provided every day. Most of the food is fried, and I felt that the convenience store lunch boxes were much easier to eat and more nutritionally balanced. I felt uncomfortable after eating several times, and I also questioned the freshness of the ingredients. Also, I learned from other graduates' reviews that on April 8, 2023, just before the graduation exam, many students suffered from food poisoning due to the lunch boxes of this school. I found this really strange, and I think you should be careful when eating lunch boxes.
4. Advance schedule and commuting information
It was very inconvenient that I didn't know the schedule in advance and only found out about the day's classes and bus times after arriving at school at around 8:40 every morning. There was only one bus to the school, and if you lived in a dormitory far away, you would have to walk for an hour in the mountains if you forgot to book the bus. Furthermore, classes sometimes started at 5 or 6 pm, and there was no space to take a break in between. I felt that this was very unreasonable.
5. Shuttle bus information
Sometimes the bus driver did not pay enough attention to safe driving. I witnessed them turning without using their blinkers and not checking their surroundings when changing lanes. I felt that it lacked safety, and I think that the efficiency and safety are low overall. Also, because there are not enough buses and drivers, even though the advertising poster says "10 minutes to the dormitory", it can take 40 to 50 minutes to get home because there are other dorms to go to. If classes end at 7 or 8 pm, you will not get home until after 9 pm.
6. Front desk service
When I was at the front desk asking questions or checking reservations, the staff would often ignore me. I had to call out to them, otherwise they would not come. Even when I called out to them, they would often respond in a bad mood, and I got the impression that they were ignoring me. I feel that basic courtesy is lacking in customer service.
Personally, after graduating from this school, I strongly felt that I never wanted to attend again. Overall, there are many areas that need improvement, and I don't think I received a service that was commensurate with the high tuition fees. As a place to learn, it was very stressful and I was mentally and physically exhausted. I hope this review will be helpful to those who are considering attending in the future.
