This town has welcomed many travelers since ancient times, and is a wonderful place filled with rich nature and historical atmosphere.

Nakatsugawa is known for being a post town on the Nakasendo road, and the nostalgic Magome-juku, which still feels like a time warp, is extremely popular with foreign tourists.
