I graduated from the training camp a while ago!

Now I drive a lot with the license I got at Uzumasa!!
It was such a great driving school that I want to come to Uzumasa again once the restrictions are lifted ❤︎

To all the teachers who have taken care of me, I know it's been a tough time, but please take care of yourself ❤︎

[This is a driving school that I would recommend to those who are most important to me]

I was able to pass the MT license training camp in the shortest possible time. At the beginning of the training camp, I was just hoping to get my license quickly, but as the lessons progressed, I received strict instruction not only on driving skills but also on safe driving, so I began to have an awareness of driving while protecting the safety of those around me, with the lives of my loved ones on board, and I got into the habit of checking for safety even when I wasn't driving.

In addition, the location is close to Kyoto's tourist sites, so it covers most of the traffic situations you'd find in a driving textbook, including pedestrian dangers, railroad crossings, fire stations, track beds, and mountains. I think it's rare to find an environment where you can learn all of these things at once. You might not be able to experience this in rural areas.

I was taught by almost all the instructors, and all of them were polite and kind, so I was able to practice with confidence from the time I entered until I graduated. I read all the reviews from other people, and not only was there never a time when I was worried about the instructor's attitude or language, but they always encouraged me, praising my good points and helping me improve.

In the future, when I have children and they go to a driving school, I will choose Uzumasa Driving School. The reviews are my own personal opinions and are not fake.

I was surprised to see some bad reviews
There may have been some flaws in the past, but things have improved now!
It seems that you can choose your teacher by name.
The two weeks of camp was so much fun!
I love all the teachers
The Tengu Ramen near the driving school is the best, so let's all go there during our free time ^_^
For those who think that a two-week training camp is too lonely!
Don't worry, our mascot cat, Princess, is friendly and will play with anyone.

I'm glad I chose Uzumasa Driving School! I'm very happy that I was able to graduate without having to stay overnight even though I had zero knowledge of driving a car.I'm really grateful that I was able to graduate thanks to the instructors who took care of everything. It was a short period of 2 weeks, but thank you very much. There is a delicious ramen shop nearby that serves Ten Ramen, so please stop by if you have time. If you're on a training camp and staying at the Urban Hotel, there's a movie theater within a 10-minute walk, so if you have time, be sure to stop by!

I am a graduate.
The instructors were all very kind and taught us in a way that was easy to understand!
He was always by my side and gave me detailed advice, so I think my level improved steadily, even if only little by little.
While I'm driving, he praises me when I do something good, saying things like, "That's good!", which makes me feel more confident!
I also stayed in a hotel for two weeks during the training camp, which was great as it was very clean and had hot springs.
I chose the plan with meals included, so I was able to eat the hotel food and it was delicious!

Uzumasa Driving School will teach you everything you need to know to become a driver who can save lives.
The instructors' guidance is sometimes strict, but never cold; the atmosphere is homey and warm, but never lenient; we have some extremely wonderful instructors.
You can see that the instructors' instructions, words, and actions are all heartfelt, so please rest assured.
We have instructors and drivers who always support us, care about our health, and give us careful guidance.
It was really reassuring to know that there were people cheering me on every day during the training camp, saying "Do your best!"

I am a bit clumsy and encountered a lot of things that didn't go well and were difficult at the driving school.
However, the instructors' words of encouragement again and again gave me courage and motivation for the future.
Through the lessons, I was able to experience what happens when I am in a state of extreme stress, and discover a side of myself that I didn't know existed.
It was a valuable realization.

In addition to explaining things in a way that helped me understand when I had questions, they also used words that allowed me to think for myself and come up with answers, which helped me to gain a deeper understanding.
He helped me to identify my driving habits and gave me guidance on how to improve them.

In the lobby of the driving school, there was a video that provided detailed, easy-to-understand explanations about the course we would be driving on, driving (various accident examples and operating methods), the system for testing and fees, and, since it was during the COVID-19 pandemic at the time, how to respond to the coronavirus, which made it very easy to get an idea of what we would be doing.
In addition, the video content is designed to encourage viewers to think about what to do when something happens, etc.

The driving school raises goldfish, which have made it beloved by local residents.
If you're lucky, you might meet the cute neighborhood dogs or a nice old man who loves his goldfish.

The Matsumoto supermarket in front of the driving school sometimes has a sale on second-hand books. You can buy second-hand books at a very low price. Since they are second-hand books, I don't know if the types of books are the same every time, but I was able to find everything from popular books to rare bargains. If you like books, please stop by in your free time.

・About the hotel where you will be staying
The hotel is very beautiful.
Setting the indoor refrigerator to 7 is so powerful that puddings and yogurt will freeze solid, so we recommend setting it to 4 or 5. (Ice cream will not melt, so it's safe♪)
In front of the elevator on the first floor of the hotel, there is free use of water, coffee, tea, a microwave and newspapers.

・About the area around the hotel
There are convenience stores, drugstores, supermarkets, and restaurants in the surrounding area, making it very convenient.

·summary
Obtaining a driver's license greatly changes your range of activities and increases your options in many situations, but it also comes with great responsibility.
After reading some reviews, some people say that the training was strict, but driving a car means that making a single wrong decision can put your life at risk.
Once you leave the driving school, there will be no instructor sitting in the passenger seat watching over you and giving you detailed guidance.
The instructor properly taught me the fun and rigor of driving.
I am truly glad that I chose Uzumasa Driving School to obtain my driver's license, which was a major turning point in my life.

(For driving schools)
Thank you for your guidance over the past two weeks.
During the training camp, thanks to the guidance of the instructors, I was able to spend a precious time that I will never forget.
I always keep the photo that was taken with everyone on the last day in my card case along with Driver's License. My driving notebook, filled with advice from my instructor, daily reflections, and driving techniques, has become a treasure to me.
Until the day I return my license, I will make use of what I have been taught, and strive to drive safely, without any accidents or violations, by correctly perceiving, judging, and operating the vehicle, so as not to disappoint my instructors.
Thank you very much for your help.

Thank you for the short time we spent together at the camp. I had no knowledge of driving and no knowledge of the area, so I was very worried before I enrolled, but thanks to the friendly guidance of the instructors, I was able to graduate safely. Also, during the busy schedule at the camp, the kind and warm atmosphere of the receptionists and instructors was a great help every day.
Even after I return home, I will continue to be mindful of safe driving.
Thank you very much.

I highly recommend it!
I had always had the image that there was at least one instructor with an unpleasant aura at driving schools, but at this driving school, no matter which instructor you meet, they teach you kindly and carefully.
The atmosphere at the reception is bright and homely, making it easy to ask for advice.
The hotel at the training camp is also very clean and comfortable, so if you're still unsure, I urge you to be brave and go!

Thank you for taking care of me at regular AT and training camp until I graduated. All the teachers were friendly, but not too kind, and taught in a way that helped me grow the most. The hotel we used for the training camp was very comfortable, and you can also enjoy sightseeing in Kyoto during your free time, so it is recommended for those who want to get their license while having fun!

I was a training camp student aiming to graduate in 14 days, but I was able to graduate in 14 days without having to stay overnight. At first, I had a lot of anxiety about driving, but as I continued to attend, I started to feel more confident. In addition, the facilities of the accommodation were excellent, including a hot spring on the top floor, and it was very comfortable. Even after I graduate, I want to continue to drive safely and avoid accidents.

The instructors, the receptionist, the shuttle bus staff, everyone was kind and I was able to enjoy the training camp period. thank you. Everyone gave me detailed instructions, and little by little I was able to enjoy driving. The shuttle bus was also very helpful when going sightseeing.

The teachers at the facility and the people who picked me up and dropped me off were all nice people, and it was a wonderful environment that made me want to work hard to get my license (*^^*) The instructions were accurate and easy to understand. I was at a training camp, but I was able to discover my weaknesses in each lesson, and I think I was able to improve tremendously! thank you very much! I'll come back later!

I am a graduate
I got my driver's license at the training camp.
I struggled at first because I wasn't getting as good as I wanted, but the instructors were very kind and taught me, and I'm now able to drive smoothly. I'm really grateful.
Uzumasa Driving School is not too far from Kyoto Station, so I have fond memories of being able to do some sightseeing in between lessons.

"I enrolled in June with a standard automatic car.
The school has a bright and comfortable atmosphere.
All the instructors were thorough and easy to understand, so I was able to take lessons with peace of mind even though the instructor changed every day.
The accommodation is also clean and you can relax and unwind.
Kyoto Uzumasa Driving School is located in Kyoto City, so you can go to various places in your free time.
I also enjoyed sightseeing in Kyoto.
Thanks to Patient Instructors I was able to graduate safely, enjoy Kyoto, and have a very fulfilling time at the training camp.

During the summer vacation, I participated in the Kyoto Uzumasa Driving School Driving Camp. It's located in Kyoto city, so it's easy to get to. I enjoyed the training camp thanks to the friendly atmosphere of the driving school and the instructors who taught me politely and clearly. There are many stores around the driving school, such as convenience stores, supermarkets, and banks, so it's very convenient. Living in the accommodation was also a new experience for me, as I live at home. I was able to make many memories in the short time until graduation.

I used Kyoto Uzumasa Driving School because it was located in Kyoto City and was easy to access. Actually, my friend had a bad experience when he went to another driving school, so I was a little scared of driving schools. I was also worried about what to do if the accommodation was dirty. But this driving school was very clean, bright, and comfortable. The instructors and reception staff were very friendly, so I was able to learn at my own pace. Once we got to know each other, we chatted a lot, and there were days when we got so caught up in talking that we got home late. The accommodation was also clean and comfortable, like home. It was my first time living alone, so I was happy to be able to do that. I'm truly glad that I chose Driving Camp. It was a short period of time, but they were very helpful. Thank you very much.

I enrolled in Kyoto Uzumasa Driving School in November for a driving Driving Camp. The driving school was located in Kyoto City and had a nice atmosphere. The reception staff were cheerful and kind. The instructor's instructions were easy to understand, so I gained a lot of knowledge. During the practical test, they taught me strictly but gently, so I passed the actual test with ease. If I hadn't been to this school, I might have struggled more. The accommodation was also comfortable. In my free time, I went to the surrounding temples and shrines. It was the season of autumn leaves, so I was glad to be able to see the beautiful scenery. This is what you would expect from Driving School in Kyoto. The short training camp period was very fulfilling, and I felt like I wanted to stay longer on graduation day. If I ever need to get another license again, I would not hesitate to use this school again.

I enrolled in Driving Camp. Before coming to the school, I was very worried about whether I would be able to graduate. However, on the first day, I no longer had those worries thanks to the kind instructor. The teaching method was polite and easy to understand, and even though I enrolled with zero knowledge, I was able to learn without being left behind. Although the life in the dormitory was not as relaxed as at home, I was able to relax to a certain extent. Three meals were provided, but they didn't suit my taste.

"I previously enrolled in the Regular Automatic course.
The entire school has a bright atmosphere and is well equipped.
The instruction was easy to understand, so I improved quickly.
In my free time, I would relax by reading manga in the common area.
As the driving school is located in Kyoto city, there are many shops around, so you will not feel inconvenienced during the training camp.
The accommodation was Leopalace, so I was able to relax as if I was at home.
The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the Wi-Fi wasn't great.

I came from Tokyo with a friend to take part in the driving Driving Camp at Kyoto Uzumasa Driving School. Perhaps because it is Kansai, the instructors are very funny and easygoing, so I was able to learn in a fun way. I will never forget the sharp retorts they made when I was being silly and dumb (lol). This driving school is located in Kyoto City, so we drove on the streets of Kyoto City, of course. It was difficult, but on the other hand, I felt a sense of accomplishment that my driving skills had improved. I had heard that in schools in the countryside, the courses were wide and relaxed, so I think it was a very practical course. At first, I was worried about whether I would be able to graduate, but I was able to concentrate and learn, so I am very grateful to everyone at the driving school. Thank you very much.

"I once enrolled at Kyoto Uzumasa Driving School from Chiba Prefecture.
I started the school knowing nothing at all, so I was worried about whether I would be able to keep up, but most of the instructors taught me in an easy-to-understand way that was tailored to my level.
In my free time, I enjoyed visiting the surrounding spots and shopping to change my mood.
Even though I entered the school not knowing what to do, I was able to graduate safely thanks to the instructors.
There are still many places I want to visit, so I would like to come back again.

I enrolled in Uzumasa Driving School for Driving Camp, and the instructors were kind and interesting, so I was able to learn in a fun way. The atmosphere at the driving school was bright and comfortable. The quality of the accommodation and meals was also satisfactory. I was able to do some sightseeing in my free time, so I was able to have a fulfilling training camp life. I would like to recommend this to friends who are considering getting a license, and next time I'd like to go to Kyoto for a motorcycle ride. Thank you very much for your help at that time.

I enrolled in Driving Camp before it gets too crowded with students. The instructors are very friendly and fun, so I had fun learning. The contrast between strictness and not so strict was amazing, but the reception staff was also very accommodating. They kindly explained the procedures, so I was able to proceed without any hesitation. I stayed in a hotel-type accommodation. Some parts were a little old and dirty, which bothered me, but I could bear it since it was only for about two weeks. To be honest, for this price, I can't really be greedy. By the way, 3 Meals Provided, but they were similar so I got bored of them halfway through. Because of that, I had to go out to eat a lot, which was unexpected. It's my fault for being a glutton. Also, there were plenty of ways to kill time during free time, so it was fine to participate alone. However, I think it would be more fun if you could come with friends.

Mr. h (20 years old) Regular Automatic (March)

I enrolled in Driving Camp with a friend. The instructors had a strong Kansai vibe and sometimes felt a little scary, but they were all fun and nice people. I was glad that their teaching methods weren't too strict. I stayed in the same accommodation as my friend, so it was comfortable, but the room was small, so we had to share. Most of the food was greasy, so I often left it on my plate. There were convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so I bought light meals like salads there.

Mr. R (19 years old) Regular Automatic (July)

3.6 points

"I enrolled in Kyoto Uzumasa Driving School because I had heard in reviews that it was easy to get around Kyoto.
It's true that I had fun going to popular spots around the flat in my free time, but if I couldn't do that, I don't think I would need to come to this driving school.
The instructors' guidance is average, and the quality of the accommodation and food is reasonable considering the tuition fees.
By the way, when you go sightseeing, you tend to spend a lot of money, so you should be prepared for your final budget to be more than the stated amount.
LOL Of course, I was able to get my license without any problems, so I don't think it was a waste of time to go.
I think it's for people who like Kyoto and want to keep the cost of obtaining a driver's license down to a certain extent.

It was a normal Driving Camp. I enrolled in February, so there were a lot of students. The instructor's instruction was normal. It felt like they were teaching according to a manual, so it was mechanical. I was staying at Leopalace, so I was able to live as usual for a while, since I live alone. The food was mostly greasy. The only thing I think was good about choosing Kyoto Uzumasa Driving School was that I was able to do a little sightseeing in Kyoto in my free time.

Mr. h (20 years old) Regular Automatic (March)

3.2 points

The instructor's instruction is normal. You can improve your skills if you take the lessons normally. Since the driving school is located in Kyoto City, the road routes include Kyoto's tourist spots. I felt that this was unique to this driving school. The walls of the accommodation were thin, so I could hear the voices from the next room. I was able to kill time while waiting by reading manga and visiting the surrounding tourist spots, so I didn't have any time to waste. I only had a little time to explore Kyoto, so I would like to visit Kyoto at a leisurely pace next time.

Mr. y (20 years old) Regular Automatic (July)

"If you study normally, you can graduate.
I took Driving Camp during the summer vacation, so there were many students in the same situation as me.
The instructors and reception staff seemed busy, but if you wait they will assist you.
While I was waiting, I spent my time reading comics in the waiting room.
The accommodation is old, but it won't be an inconvenience for staying there for about two weeks.
The only good thing about Kyoto Uzumasa Driving School is that you can sightsee in Kyoto in your free time.
Other than that I think it's basically average.
"

Mr. K (19 years old) Regular Automatic (September)

I graduated properly, but I think I could have done better if I hadn't gone to this driving school. The instructors are hit or miss. Some are kind and easy to understand, while others are casual or intimidating. I stayed at Leopalace. I had no complaints about the person I shared a room with, but it was a bit cramped so I couldn't spend my time freely. The food wasn't very tasty either, so I might have been better off buying it myself. It might be better not to trust reviews too much.

Mr. d (20 years old) Regular Automatic (March)

2.6 points

"There were a lot of good things written in the reviews, but I didn't think so.
I enrolled in Driving Camp in March, but the attitude of the instructors and reception staff was awful.
Perhaps because many students were busy during spring break, the event was handled rather haphazardly.
It's true that there were a lot of people there and it may have been a hassle, but since we are paying for it, I would like them to do it properly.
The accommodation is a designer apartment for women only.
Since the Wi-Fi environment was not good, I had a lot of trouble when my data usage was restricted.
It's unthinkable nowadays not to have Wi-Fi.
I hope they improve that area as soon as possible.
The food was pretty much the same and the fried food was greasy.
I'm a health-conscious person, so I would like them to consider plans that allow menu options for people like me.
I graduated, but I wish I hadn't stayed here.
