Review introduction (33)

Mr. GU (21 years old) Regular Automatic (April)

5 points

In mid-April, I went to pick up an automatic transmission for a standard-sized vehicle at a hotel training camp.
I graduated at the end of April and have been living in Osaka since then, so I was able to get it two weeks later!

When I was looking for Driving Camp I looked at a lot of reviews but I couldn't find anyone who wrote detailed information, so I'll write this long review for anyone who is even slightly interested in Kobe Driving School in the future.

The schedule will be distributed on the first day.
The explanation doesn't give you much detail (about daily life, classes, etc.), so if you don't understand something, you should definitely ask beforehand. In fact, there were many things I didn't understand, so I asked a lot of questions.
The ratio of foreigners attending driving schools is high. Therefore, I think there are probably many people who don't know how to drive. Please help them out in such cases!

The academic part was online. It was easy to understand, it was easy to use time effectively, and I could watch it again and again after graduation. I was able to take the academic exam in conjunction with LINE Manten-sama (a mock test site), so I thought it was good to take it online! However, it was a pretty tight schedule. I was only given 3 days to read the part. Let's do our best.
I think the connection was a little weaker. It cuts off suddenly and you have to take the class again if it's not 50 minutes, so it's definitely better to do it in a place with a stronger connection. I had to start over from the beginning because it cut off a few times.
There are also a few hours of face-to-face classes.

The practical skills vary depending on the teacher, so if you don't say it clearly, you won't be able to understand. There are many friendly teachers, so you can relax and drive calmly while talking. I was grateful for the precise instructions. However, there are also teachers that don't suit you, so if it's too difficult, I recommend saying it at the counter.
The training car was a Prius and it was easy to drive! The area around the driving school has many slopes and few pedestrians and bicycles. I will be able to use this experience in the future because I will be driving on highways and mountain roads. I was surprised that the simulation machine was so old that it was difficult to drive. There seem to be newer ones, but I got the old one.

The hotel is located in Sannomiya, Sotetsu Fresa Inn, and it is well-located. There is a shuttle bus to the driver's license office, so I was able to live comfortably. The rooms are also clean. ‎ ‎*One thing to be careful of at hotels is checking the room after cleaning. I once left my breakfast and dinner meal tickets in the middle of the table, and they were all thrown away after cleaning, so please check your luggage in the room carefully.

Now I will summarize the most important thing about my training camp: food.
In the morning, there is a buffet at Sachifukuya Cafe attached to the hotel. The basic menu is the same. The only thing that changes is that the croquettes are replaced with minced meat cutlets. For lunch, we have bento boxes at the driving school. The contents are the usual bento boxes. The system is that you go to the counter to get your bento at 12 o'clock. If you can't come to the driving school due to a schedule, for example if the practical test starts at 14:30, you can either come early and eat your bento box before waiting, or hold off until the evening. In the evening, we have one set menu item and one drink at the same place as in the morning. (All-you-can-eat rice, miso soup, and mentaiko) There is a wide repertoire so you won't get bored!
All the meals were delicious and I was so happy!
I talked to a friend who commutes from the dormitory and he said that it's cheap, the rooms are clean, and it's convenient because it's close to the driving school, but the only thing he's not happy about is the food. There's not much food, so he gets hungry.

Each school has its own good and bad points, so compare the different driving schools and find Driving Camp that's right for you!!

Overall, I am very happy to have attended this school! Of course, it is natural to study hard to graduate because it is a license, but I was able to relax and have fun, so I will never forget my experience here.
thank you very much!

All the teachers were kind, it was easy to attend, and time passed by in a flash.
First of all, the instruction is good, so you can learn quickly! The rooms at the training camp are clean and the food is very delicious. If you are undecided, I recommend Kobe Driving Center!

I graduated at the training camp. Almost all of my department's classes were online, which was easy to understand and I was able to proceed at my own pace, which was great! Even though I went alone, I became friends with other training camp students who enrolled at the same time, and we ended up going to Arima Onsen together! The accommodation is new and clean, and is recommended for women.

Thank you for your help with Driving Camp.
The staff were very kind and the women's accommodation was very clean.
Although it is a hilly city, I think it will be more beneficial for my future as an experience than driving only on flat roads. When I had questions about the theory or driving, they explained them carefully until I solved the problem.
The bread in the morning, the lunch box, and especially the dinner were all freshly cooked and very delicious.
On the first day of school, the students received a bath towel, face towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, cup, disinfectant alcohol spray, and a zippered bag with an academic textbook, driving textbook, academic question book, and first aid textbook. The bag was sturdy, so I didn't need to bring a bag to school.
When I went there in late April to early May, it rained a lot, so rain gear is essential.
Although it was not mentioned on the website, there were pots, hangers, hairdryers, vacuum cleaners, and quick wipes, and toilet cleaner and detergent were provided in the toilets, bathrooms, and kitchens, so there was no need to bring your own cleaning supplies. (I don't know if all the dormitories are the same.)

Also, I don't know if it was just in my area or because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the written test was booked up for about a month in advance, so I think it's a good idea to check how to apply for the test at your local driving license center while you're there. At the driving license center where I live, there is no cancellation fee even if you reserve the test date, and there was an opening up until around noon the day before the test, so I was able to change my reservation.

I'm glad I got my license here. Thank you.
If you are wondering which driving school to go to, we recommend Kobe Driving School.

This is a person who obtained a regular license limited to AT cars at a training camp. There were many kind teachers and I had a great learning experience. There are some teachers who are strict, but I personally prefer strict teachers, so it really helps me when I'm driving. Strict teachers and kind teachers both pay close attention to their students and accurately point out areas where they are not doing well. Therefore, at first it may feel tough, but they are just very enthusiastic, so I don't have any hard feelings at all. Since it was a training camp, I stayed in a nearby apartment and there was a kindergarten nearby, so I was soothed by the laughter of the children. I took and passed the Japanese Driving License Examination for the first time, so I got my driver's Driver's License today. I'm really thankful to you. I am also recommending Kobe Driving School to my niece and friends. Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff and teachers. I'm really thankful to you.

I graduated today from a manual transmission driving training camp!

Breakfast is available at reception after 17:00 the evening before! The bread is delicious! Lunch is available at reception after 12:00 on the day! I liked the boiled shiitake mushrooms that are always on the edge! It's delicious!

The weather was bad when I was there, and there were days when the thunderstorms were so bad I couldn't go outside, so on those days I called Fullmark and said, "No dinner please!" Even if you have a plan that 3 Meals Provided, it's a good idea to buy prepackaged rice or instant noodles for those days! There's nothing worse than being hungry!

On days when my driving lessons finished at noon, I would go to Sannomiya in the afternoon, but if you need to go to Don Quijote or Starbucks, or if you want some snacks or drinks that aren't available at the Lawson just a 10-minute walk away, you should definitely go to Sannomiya!
"It's a training camp, so I guess the lessons are tight every day..."
"I wonder if he's busy every day..."

[For those who have lessons coming up]

I enrolled in Driving Camp and was able to get Driver's License without any problems!
I truly appreciate it!
I'm really glad I chose Kobe Driving School.

Teachers who left an impression on me
Mr. Teraoka
He kindly and carefully taught me the basic operations and praised me by saying, "You've gotten good at braking!", which made me very happy!
◯ Professor Sugiyama & Professor Kobayashi
He talked to me about things other than driving in a fun way, and I was able to relax and learn while communicating with him! Thank you very much!
◯ Professor Umemoto
Thanks to Umemoto-sensei's clear and precise instruction, I can now parallel park! Thank you!
Mr. Morita
The set lessons were strict but humorous and the atmosphere was great, so I really enjoyed learning!
◯Motoo Sensei
When I was trying to get home, it suddenly started raining and I was stranded.
Seeing that I was in trouble, Professor Motoo lent me his umbrella!
I was impressed by the friendly service!
thank you very much!
◯ Mr. Otsu
"What is driving?" in highway lessons
I learned a lot from the deep thoughts he gave me about the subject! Before the final exam,
"Good luck! It'll be fine!"
I was really happy to hear the kind words of encouragement! Thank you!
Teachers at the reception
Thank you for always being so kind and patient with me!
I believe that the best way to repay my teachers is to avoid accidents and continue to drive safely!
Thank you for your help!
It's a good memory!

I went there for a training camp. The women's accommodation is a newly built apartment and very clean. I felt like I was living alone. And each meal comes with a meal that is so filling that you'll be full. The teaching materials and school system were very complete and the process was efficient. In particular, the teaching videos were quite elaborate, with videos of instructors and videos of 3D characters performing manzai. I will be taking designated online classes during this period, and since I can take them at my dorm, I was able to take them comfortably. The teachers were all really kind and friendly, and they taught me carefully, and when it came to serious things, they were kind to me. I graduated without any concerns. I am a working adult, and even on the rare occasions when I received a call for work, I was able to respond properly to the online course because I was able to set my own schedule within the period. There were also many working people. Recommended

It's a wonderful school.
I was stuck with the hotel plan for the training camp.
The hotel was near Sannomiya Station, and I went there by school bus every day. The hotel had all-you-can-eat mentaiko (lol) and the tamagoyaki (egg roll) for breakfast was delicious. There were few options for dinner, so I got bored of it halfway through.
The academic studies were done online, so I was able to study where and when I wanted. Driving was a lot of fun. I have only good memories and experiences. It was also good that the teachers changed every time. I received a lot of important advice and guidance. I also really like the school atmosphere. The program content is rich and everything is included, so if you work hard, you will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills! Thank you very much ♡

Thank you for your help during the training camp.
There were many friendly people and the atmosphere was homely, so I was able to enjoy the lessons☺︎
I was really sad when I left the dorm.
Since the instructor changed for each lesson, I was able to get advice from various instructors, which was great. They pointed out my weaknesses in a way that left a lasting impression on me, so I was able to use that knowledge next time. I was always smiling when I was able to do something the next day that I couldn't do the day before.
The receptionist was very polite, kind and smiled and I only had a good impression.
The training camp took place over the New Year holidays, and I spent New Year's alone at the inn, but thanks to the instructors and the people at the reception, I didn't feel lonely at all☺︎
I have fond memories of the instructor showing me a cat that was on the premises through the car window while he was doing a safety check, and letting me touch the cat after the lesson. It instantly relieved my tension and I felt very relaxed. I would like to go back to meet the cats with the people at Kobe Driving School again.
After I passed Final Driving Test I wanted to thank the people who helped me, but I couldn't find the time to do so and I ended up returning home without being able to say hello, so I would like to thank them again here.
thank you very much! !

Thank you for your support during the two-week training camp (MT car)!
The accommodation was very clean, stylish, and comfortable. The rooms had WiFi, which made it easy to study online and helped me to study well.
I had bread for breakfast, a bento lunch for lunch, and a meal at Fullmark for dinner. Everything was delicious.
The teachers were all very good and unique. Some teachers gave me appropriate advice and praised me when I did well, so I personally found it very easy to learn. There were times when I struggled with clutch operation and made the teacher shake a lot, but some teachers didn't get angry and laughed with me, so it's a good memory. When I told them something I didn't understand or had questions, they listened to me kindly and answered!
I am truly grateful to the teachers!

I was taken care of at Driving Camp. There were many different types of teachers and it was fun. ☺︎
The inside of the facility is the same as anywhere else, but driving on the roads was quite hilly and it was a good experience.
The Driving Camp training camp runs from morning to night (I think this applies anywhere), but some days it finishes around noon, and on those days you can take a free shuttle bus to Sannomiya and have fun in the city.
The place I stayed in was a room in an apartment building, and it was very clean.
For meals, I had bread in the morning, and lunch and dinner at a bento box or a Western restaurant. The food at the Western restaurant was delicious and was a fun part of my day.

I participated in the training camp.
Even though it was my first time driving, the instructors were very kind and taught me well, so I gained confidence. If I take the course properly, I can graduate within the camp period, which is helpful.
I passed all Driving Test provisional license test and Final Driving Test in one try in the shortest possible time! I also passed the full license in one try at Komyoike and was able to get the automatic transmission without any problems! Thank you for teaching me so kindly and carefully. It's important to be careful that the lights in the 2nd floor toilet go out quickly. It might have been easier if I had studied the practical skills and exams on YouTube (Albaca, Murashi, License Service) or Street View in advance.

I took the manual at the training camp.
There are many easy-going teachers, so I am sad to graduate.
Although there are some strict teachers, they keep a close eye on the students and point out exactly what they are not good at. Therefore, although they may seem strict at first, they are just very enthusiastic, so there is no unpleasant feeling at all.
Since it was a training camp, I stayed in an apartment nearby, and there were several cats walking around, which was very soothing.
I brought my guitar with me so I wasn't bored, but if you are coming to the camp, I think it would be better to have books or a hobby that you can carry around with you so you won't have any trouble outside of class time.

It was my first time at a driving school in my late 50s.
I got my license at a training camp (with an extra two days when I got my provisional license), but if I had to commute, I might have given up.
All the instructors were patient and taught me well, and I'm glad I chose this school.

There were many interesting teachers and I had a great time during the two weeks.
All of the teachers were excellent and they asked me if there was anything I didn't understand or found difficult, and they explained everything to me carefully so that I could graduate.
The teachers at the reception were kind, and I would recommend both attending and staying at the training camp. The room I stayed in at the training camp was also very clean!

I needed a driver's license for work, so I enrolled in Kobe Driving School's Driving Camp course, which allows me to obtain a license in a short period of time.
At first, I was worried about whether I would be able to graduate successfully, but with the support of kind instructors and caring staff, I was able to steadily acquire knowledge and skills.
I often hear that driving instructors are very strict, but that seems to be different these days.
Everyone gave me proper guidance.
However, I did feel a little self-loathing, thinking that it took so long because I just didn't have the talent for it.
There are plenty of shops in the area so you can enjoy your free time.
I felt lonely being away from home for two weeks, but by the last day I found it so comfortable that I wanted to stay longer (because work would be waiting for me when I got back...).
If there is another opportunity, I would appreciate your help.

I participated in a training camp (regular four-wheel drive).

At first, I was very nervous about getting in a car, but I'm glad I participated.
There were many teachers who clearly explained to me what I was able to do and what the challenges were, which made it easy to understand.

Since the instructors were different every time, the teaching methods varied from person to person, with some teachers talking a lot, some giving lots of advice, and to be honest, there were some teachers who I personally found scary... but all the instructors did their best to teach us safely.

And when I didn't understand something, I asked as many questions as I could! (My teacher told me, "You'll only be here for two weeks, so ask as many questions as you can and use them in the future!", which made it easy to ask questions.)

When I was finally praised, I felt that all the hard work I had put in for two weeks without a break had been worth it.

Also, the accommodation I lived in during the training camp was very new, clean, and comfortable, allowing me to concentrate even after returning home. I was also able to borrow the school bus to go shopping in Sannomiya.

If I had to say something, it was a bit disappointing that most of the rice dishes were fried. I would have been happier if there were more vegetables.

Thank you for your help ^_^

I enrolled in Kobe Driving School because it said on their website that it was a driving school popular with women. Once I enrolled, I immediately understood why it was so popular with women. First of all, the accommodation was built in 2006, so it is relatively new and clean. The facilities are well-equipped and, best of all, it is women-only. I couldn't feel more at ease. The snacks and bento lunches provided for meals, as well as the food in the cafeteria, were all delicious, so I was very satisfied. The instructors and reception staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere at the driving school was bright. I am truly glad that I chose Kobe Driving School!

It was a very satisfying driving school. I enrolled during spring break to get a license for a regular automatic car. There were many other students who had likely enrolled during spring break. As they advertise that it is popular with women, there were many women. So my worries about Driving Camp were quickly alleviated. I also had no problems getting along with the instructors, which I was worried about. Everyone was friendly and kind, and they encouraged and gave me advice when I made mistakes. I was excited when I headed to Kobe Driving School, but on the last day I didn't want to go home yet! Thank you for a fulfilling driving period!

"I enrolled with a friend.
I was lucky because I applied at the same time and got a small discount on the lesson fees.
This was the first motorcyclist training camp for both of us, but I would recommend it as it's a fun and lively experience if you go with friends.
The school is well-maintained and clean.
To be honest, it feels like it's even nicer than the university we went to.
It's a nice place to spend a couple of weeks.
The accommodations were very clean and seemed to have just been built.
In fact, it was so beautiful that I had to be careful not to get it dirty.
The place had all the basic home appliances so I felt at home.
However, since it's Leopalace, I guess it can't be helped, but the bath was quite small, so I had to go to the nearby hot springs twice to get rid of my tiredness (which is probably a good thing!!).
I was able to enjoy the hot springs and graduate safely, so it was a good memory for me.

While I was looking for a good Driving Camp, I found Kobe Driving School, which was recommended for women and had good reviews. I ordered a free brochure and checked it out, and it looked really good, so I enrolled. The instructors and staff were very accommodating, so I felt at ease. I was never yelled at and started crying, so I think it would be fine even for women who don't like male instructors. The accommodations were also nice, so I could relax like I was at home. I was sometimes homesick, but I encouraged myself by telling myself that it would only be for a few weeks, and I was able to get through it! The food was delicious, with snacks and bento boxes provided. I did get a little bored, but I can't be greedy all the time. Now that I've successfully obtained my license, I'd like to go on a trip to Kobe by car next time.

"The best thing about Kobe Driving School is that the accommodations are clean.
Since I would be staying there for about two weeks, I wanted a place that was fairly clean and well-equipped, so the conditions were ideal.
I was happy that it was an apartment-style room rather than a hotel, so I could relax.
It's a bit of a hassle to have to provide your own hair dryer.
As for the actual lessons themselves, the instruction was thorough and I was able to proceed without any problems.
The atmosphere of the driving school is good and I think it is especially convenient for women.

I wanted to get Driving Camp license while I was in my 20s, so I took advantage of the driving school training camp. I had high hopes for the Driving Camp camp, as it was popular with women and had read reviews. The instructors and staff were very friendly and the instructions were easy to understand. It certainly was as good as the reviews said. In the past, you could choose between Leopalace and a hotel for accommodation. I chose Leopalace because I wanted to stay in the comfort of my own home. It was a new building and very clean. Kobe's summers were very hot, so I was grateful that it had air conditioning and heating. On days when there were no lessons, I could go to nearby tourist spots. Next time, I'd like to take my car and visit Kobe.

Most of the instructors and staff were kind and friendly, but some of them were not very accommodating. When I asked questions, they just brushed me off and didn't answer. It's a shame that some of them lowered the school's overall rating. I chose to stay in a hotel. It was a little old, but it was well cleaned. I got tired of snacks and bento lunches every day. I was glad that there were many convenience stores and cafes around the hotel. Some of the staff were really the worst, but as long as you don't run into them, it's a good school.

"I used my summer vacation to attend Driving Camp with a close group of friends.
Since I was with the usual group of people, we all prepared and reviewed our lessons and worked hard on our academic studies.
The instructors carefully taught us the skills, but I noticed that one instructor's instruction was a little sloppy.
Accommodation is at Leopalace.
I was able to relax like I was at home, but the walls were thin so I was bothered by noise late at night.
I was satisfied with the meals, which were always delicious lunch boxes and snacks.
On our days off, we all enjoyed eating our way through Chinatown and enjoying Kobe.
I was able to get a taste of sightseeing too, so I'm glad I chose Kobe Driving School.

I enrolled in Kobe Driving School because it was easy to access from my hometown. It seems to be popular with women, and there were a lot of women. I think the instructor's teaching methods are the same as other driving schools. You can choose to stay at a hotel, Leopalace. This time I chose Leopalace, but they didn't have a hair dryer for everyone to use, so you had to bring one or buy one, which was a bit of a hassle. For meals, they serve snacks and bento boxes, but the menu is similar so I got bored of it quickly. If you take the lessons properly, you can graduate within the period, so it's totally fine if you're not looking for options like sightseeing.

"I think it would have been fine if I hadn't gone to this school.
The reason I chose Kobe Driving School was simply because I had never been to Kobe and the fees were relatively reasonable.
The response from the instructors and staff was neither good nor bad.
There's nothing particularly wrong with it, but there's nothing I particularly like about it either.
The food seems reasonable considering the tuition fee.
The hotel where you stay is a little far from the school, so it is difficult to get there easily.
Overall, I thought it was a typical driving school.
