Review introduction (14)

Mr. CU (29 years old) Towing (December)

5 points

I used it at a training camp to get my towing license.
The room was a shared premises and felt old.
There was a washing machine and the bathroom and toilet were separate, so privacy was guaranteed and it was comfortable!
The wifi is good too! But winter in Nasu is cold.
Even with the air conditioner on full blast, you may still wake up cold at night! Bring your fur!

Meals consist of one main dish followed by a buffet of side dishes, rice, soup, etc.
I stayed there for a week, and the menu was mostly meat-based main dishes for the young people, so I only ate salads. The main dish for dinner was clearly a shortcut.
There are York Benimaru and Karasugamori Park near the driving school, so it's perfect for a morning walk! Currently, a building that looks like a convenience store is under construction near the entrance to Karasugamori Park, so it may be easier to go shopping.

As for the essential training, different instructors have different teaching methods, so I think the quickest way to learn is to find an instructor that suits you and get their advice.
By the way, my recommended instructor was Instructor Taki○!
He immediately identified my weaknesses and taught me enthusiastically and in an easy-to-understand way!
Thanks to that, I was able to successfully overcome my weakness of changing direction and passed my final exam!
Overall, the instructors are mostly older and tend to be condescending, but I didn't find it unpleasant.

Especially for those who are going to the camp alone, it is important to quickly become friends with your classmates who will be obtaining the same license at the entrance ceremony.
I think you will have a fun time at driving school!
There may be times when you feel discouraged because your driving isn't good, but keep trying your best!

I got my large driver's license at the training camp. The food at the training camp was delicious and I had a comfortable stay. Since the training content is stipulated by law, I don't think there is much difference between any driving school, so the important point is whether or not you can spend your time comfortably. There are some people who give harsh reviews, but there are not many people who can compare the training content of multiple driving schools. I went to a driving school three times: two-wheel, four-wheel, and heavy-duty, and the quality of the instructors was the best at Nasu Driving School.

The important points regarding Driving Camp may differ depending on the person, but in my case, I focused on how comfortably I could spend my time there. Sharing a room may have its charms, but I wanted time to relax and be alone, so I chose a single room. The room wasn't very large, but it was nice to have my own space. Thanks to this, I was able to concentrate on the training camp without feeling stressed. I think it was a good decision to reserve a single room early. The lessons were fun, so I had a very fulfilling time.

Obtained Large Class 1 certification in September 2021.
I also got a forklift.
I was able to graduate from the final exam in one go without any postponements.

During the training camp, I was accommodated in a single room at Nasu Corp.
The food was delicious and I gained 3kg by eating everything morning, lunch and night lol

There are some bad things written in the reviews,
I think it’s a very good school.
The way the instructor teaches is also excellent
The reception staff was also very good.

People who write bad things in reviews
He must be unfit to drive. Lol

I have attended three driving schools so far.
It's more strict than other driving schools.
I think it's a given.
Good luck to everyone.

Please let me know if you need anything else.
thank you very much.

◎Training: Towing (training camp)
◎Accommodation: Nasu Hotel (single)
◎Time: Around Golden Week (April to May 2022)

Thank you for allowing me to graduate from this towing course.
The accommodation at the Nasu Hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable.
The food in the cafeteria was very delicious, so I ate a lot of small side dishes (various kinds of vegetables and side dishes).
I didn't have a second helping of rice, but I gained 5kg. But I put the weight back on about a week after graduating.

I had fellow students from various regions, both male and female and of all ages, who ate from the same pot, so I had a fun time at school.

It felt like I was a student again for the first time in a long time.
Now that I've graduated, it's a fond memory for me!!

To all the staff and fellow students at Nasu Driving School,
Thank you so very much ♪♪♪

With future expectations
I will give it a rating of four stars.

P.S.: I went to eat the delicious koban made by my sister (mother) and brother (father) at the restaurant.
These days, I feel like taking the "large special" test next!!

This is a driving school where the food is very delicious.
After all, it's food that gives you energy every day.
The dormitory wasn't that big, but since it was basically just a place to sleep, I think it was sufficient.
I ended up going out on weekends too, so the size of the room wasn't a stressful issue.
As for the lessons, there was one instructor in the theory class who was quite strict, which I didn't really like.
However, the instructor for the practical part was very kind and taught me well, so it was good.
I even started looking forward to my practical lessons every day.
It was only for about two weeks, but it was a really good training camp.

The food was great! It's a buffet every day, so you can eat whatever you like and as much as you like. Of course, the taste was also outstanding! There are various types of accommodations to choose from, but I chose a shared room. I quickly became friends with the trainees I shared a room with, and I had a great time. I considered a single room, but I'm glad I chose the shared room plan. The lessons were not particularly difficult either. It was a little difficult to get used to it, but the instructors gave me detailed instructions and asked me many questions, which helped me a lot. I was a little worried before entering the school, but now I'm really glad I took advantage of Driving Camp.

It was a really fun training camp life. This time, I decided to stay in a single room, which was the correct answer. The room was bigger than I expected, and I was able to relax after the daily training. It may seem like a small thing, but it's very important every day. I was able to concentrate very much because I didn't carry the fatigue from the previous day into the next day. Practical training without sleep is dangerous! The quality of the food was also quite satisfactory. You will also receive a free hot spring ticket. Thanks to you, I was able to feel like I was on a hot spring trip even though I came to the training camp!

I took two large ones at the training camp.
Personally, I didn't feel any inconvenience.
Since I only had the standard version to begin with, I was not able to operate the manual properly at first, and I received some very harsh comments, which was tough at times.
Well, there are only two types, so I think that's the minimum you need to be prepared.
As for the instructors, I can't say that I felt good about them, because there was one person who was far removed from the second-class driving lessons, but the instruction was accurate and good.

The dining room afterwards was great

DT (28 years old) Large special (November)

3.6 points

We had a training camp for large special purpose vehicles and construction machinery.
We shared a room, but there was a partition.
The only thing that bothers me about sharing a room is snoring.
The food was very delicious
I had a regular driver's license, so I went sightseeing in Nasu Highlands every day outside of my driving lessons.
I had never seen anything about the content of the lessons in other reviews.
It's a good place for people who want to get a qualification in a short period of time even if they have to take time off work.

Mr. A (18 years old) Regular Automatic (September)

Although the instructor taught me with enthusiasm, it seems that his teaching style did not suit me, and I ended up having a lot of trouble. This may be unavoidable because it's a matter of compatibility, but for me it's a negative point. Perhaps because of that, the atmosphere at the school as a whole felt a little bad. The accommodation was very comfortable. The meal was also a buffet, so I could eat as much as I wanted. The taste isn't all that great, but since I'm a picky eater, I thought it was a great system. Considering the overall balance, I think it was a good driving school.

Mr. T (18 years old) Regular Manual (March)

Since the driving school is easily accessible from within Tokyo, many people came to the training camp.
However, there are plenty of dormitories available and the school is large, so it never felt particularly crowded.
Naturally, I was able to take lessons according to schedule.
Even though there were a lot of students, the service was excellent.
It may be a small thing, but it made my life as a driver's stu- dent much more comfortable.
I have no complaints about the teaching methods of the instructors.
Overall it was very good.

I used it for Driving Camp, but the room was old and smelled of cigarettes.
I bought a ton of room deodorizer at a nearby drug store and used it all the time!

I didn't notice any bad vibes from the instructors as other reviews have said. I think they were so eager to teach that they went too far.
The view from the room was amazing, with the Tohoku Shinkansen and other trains visible! The nearby Nogi Onsen was also great, and the Nasu outlet mall was only a 30-minute drive away, which was great!

Mr. I (19 years old) Regular Motorcycle (February)

2.4 points

Although it wasn't unbearable, I don't think it was a particularly good driving school.
In particular, the attitude of some of the instructors and staff was questionable.
The accommodation is a bit old and not very comfortable.
It was especially difficult in February when the heating wasn't working properly.
The food was a buffet but it wasn't very tasty.
It's not that there wasn't anything to eat, but it was disappointing.
In this case, I would have preferred a meal like a regular school cafeteria or school lunch.
So, it wasn't a very enjoyable training camp for me.
I'm sorry.
