Ichinomiya Kochi Prefectural Driving School

I enrolled in this school because I was excited to learn that it is the oldest Driving School in Kochi Prefecture. I was given the option to choose an instructor, and I chose that option. I was happy that the same instructor carefully taught me both the theory and the practical aspects. I stayed at the Leopalace hotel, where I could cook my own meals. It was a refreshing experience to get the feeling of living alone. On my days off, I refreshed myself by visiting famous tourist spots in the area. I also made friends my age, and it was a very fulfilling training camp!

When I was looking for a training camp, a friend recommended Kochi Prefectural Driving School. I was very worried about my skills, but the instructors were kind and careful and I was able to master it without any problems. You can choose the instructor system here, but I chose the free instructor system where I can learn from various instructors. It was interesting because each instructor has their own unique teaching style. I stayed at a hotel, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The food was also delicious, and I was especially satisfied with the breakfast buffet. I am very grateful to my friend who recommended it to me.

I used the service from Tokyo, but there was a bus that ran from Tokyo Station to Kochi Station, the closest station to Driving School, so it was a smooth ride. Another nice point is that they reimburse you up to 20,000 yen for a round trip. I was very nervous at first, but the environment in the facility and the hospitality of the instructors and other staff were good, so I felt at ease. There are many tourist spots in the area, such as Kochi Castle, so I used my free time to enjoy Kochi. I'm glad I was able to get my manual license without any problems.

The accommodation I used was a Leopalace type that did not include meals, but I was able to stay there without feeling any inconvenience.

There were times when I had a bad experience with the reception staff, but the instructor who was in charge of me throughout was nice, so I was able to concentrate on my lessons with peace of mind.

It was fun, like sharing a house with a friend. The instructors in the classes were all very interesting, so we ended up talking about things that weren't related to class. On our days off, we enjoyed sightseeing, such as going to Hirome Market to enjoy Tosa local cuisine, and going to the famous Kochi Castle to enjoy a panoramic view of the castle town from the castle tower. It was the first time I'd spent such a long time with a friend, so it was a good memory.
