Thank you for your help during the junior high school driver's license training camp.
The learning environment and location are very good
During the practical and academic training, when I had questions about things I didn't understand, they were explained to me in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
If you want to concentrate and get your license quickly, this is the place for you.
The receptionists and dormitory parents are extremely kind and take great care of me.
I was also very satisfied with dormitory life.
After all, hot rice is the best

It was a short time, but I really appreciate your help.
thank you very much!

I decided to stay here because it was much cheaper than locally, the dormitory was right in front of the driving school with single 3 Meals Provided, the convenience store was a 15-minute walk away, the hot springs were a 30-minute walk away, and bicycles were available for hire.
The surroundings were peaceful and the view was great, and since it was late October, we could see the autumn leaves and feel refreshed. However, since it was the season for autumn leaves, there were many rice fields being burned, and it was a bit disappointing that it was difficult to see in front of us and it was very smoky.

The instructors were all unique and fun to learn from. Some used driving textbooks, others taught by practice, and there were different teaching methods, so I think it depends on the compatibility. The manager of the dormitory also provided ample support for the mental health of the students, so I felt it was a very safe environment.
Personally, I found it easy to understand especially from Professor Yanagisawa, Professor Hayakawa, and Professor Shibai, who taught me the points to pay attention to from beginning to end while driving. On the other hand, with silent teachers such as Professor Ogiwara, I was frustrated because I could not get the points well no matter how many times I practiced them. On another day, Professor Yamashita gave me detailed instructions on when to turn the steering wheel, and I was able to manage it. It was all written in the driving textbook, but I wished he had given me a word of advice.

Anyway, I'm relieved to have graduated.
Thank you very much.

I used it for a training camp to get a regular manual transmission license.

The pricing was quite reasonable.
It was inconvenient that the nearest convenience store was a nearly 15-minute walk away, but I remember the food the aunties made for us at the cafeteria was delicious.

Most of the instructors were very gentle, but there were some who would say things like, "Ah, my back hurts so much, that's why I hate it," in a very sarcastic manner when the engine stalled, and at one point I was repeatedly hit by instructors who would yell at me in an extremely loud voice.

Most driving schools have low ratings, but there are always a few people like this who are the cause of lowering the ratings of all driving schools.
It would be nice if there was a system where you could choose your instructor.

I think there are people who become obsessive and think too hard about how to avoid failure, which leads to a negative cycle where they end up failing instead, and I was that type of person.
In the midst of all this, I thought that manual transmission was no longer possible, so I asked the driving school if I could change to automatic transmission.

The next day, I was called by an instructor who had heard about it, and I wondered what he would say to me.
He patted me on the shoulder and encouraged me, saying, "You've worked so hard to get this far. I'll ask the other teachers to help me, so let's work a little harder together."

After that, thanks to you, I was able to pass the exam.
After receiving the notification of my passing, I was on my way back to my room when I happened to look at the training course and made eye contact with a teacher giving a lesson.
I still remember when I made a circle with my arm and he smiled and gave me a thumbs up.

Wherever you go, you'll have the opportunity to get a different instructor, but for me, this training camp has become a fond memory.

We were hosted at a training camp from mid-June.
I was very grateful that I was able to get my license in exactly two weeks, which was a tight schedule.
Even though it was the off-season, the price was very reasonable. I live in the prefecture, so it was helpful that they accepted me.
The receptionist was also very friendly and polite.

There were many instructors with unique personalities in the lessons. The theory was taught clearly and carefully, and they picked out the points that were likely to be asked in the exam, so I think I was able to prepare efficiently.
I was able to pass the mock exams and exams on the first try just by attending classes.

When it comes to driving skills, they generally teach you gently, and most of the people there are friendly, so I was able to relax and learn to drive. Some people may find their tone a little harsh, but that's when you're driving and it's dangerous. Driving a car can be life-threatening if you make a mistake, so I'm very grateful to have received proper instruction in those situations.

I was able to live comfortably in the dormitory without any inconvenience. The dormitory owner is also very friendly, so I was able to live there with peace of mind. As for meals, I was happy that they provided hot food even though the times differed depending on the students' classes.

Honestly, I have no complaints and am very satisfied.
Thank you for your help.

I was able to get Regular Automatic at the training camp!
Every day was more fulfilling than I had imagined, and I really didn't want to go home!
The instructors were all kind and polite to everyone we encountered, and there were really only really great teachers!!!
The convenience stores and supermarkets were closer to the driving school than I expected, so it was very convenient!
The uncle and auntie at the cafeteria were very friendly and the food was delicious every day!

Many of the teachers kept things lively even though it was just the two of us in the car, and we had so much fun both in the classroom and on the road that the time flew by!!
I was able to study hard and have fun driving at the same time, and these two weeks of summer vacation became some of my best memories!!
Thank you so much! ^^

Thank you for your help with the training camp plan.
The instructors and dorm managers here are all so kind and I was able to attend with peace of mind. I am truly grateful to all of them for their kindness.

The lessons are really fun. I was nervous when I enrolled, but most Patient Instructors, so I was able to relax and concentrate on the lessons. Yamashita-sensei and Hayakawa-sensei are very good at teaching and teach properly. Even during lessons, they gave me practical advice that wasn't in the textbooks about what you need to know when actually driving, which was great. It was fun to talk about all sorts of things. Yanagisawa-sensei's explanations were easy to understand, and he was always cheerful and polite, so I also felt cheerful. Sakurai-sensei was fun, and we chatted during lessons and had a lot of fun. I felt that they really try to make the lessons fun.

Unfortunately, when I was on a group trip, I encountered an instructor who was prejudiced against foreigners, but if you ignore him, you'll be fine. That's about it for the negative aspects.

It's surrounded by nature and the air is clear, which is nice. The atmosphere of the entire facility was bright and clean, which was great. I'm glad I got my license here. I was kind of sad to graduate. As I got used to it, I started to feel like I didn't want to graduate. Thank you very much. I'll use this place again when I get my next license.

Finally, I would like to thank the dormitory manager, Mr. Ichikawa, and all the staff. They really helped me out.

After reading some reviews, I decided to participate in this training camp. I was a little worried because there were many negative reviews, but in the end, there were many instructors with excellent teaching skills, and I was able to pass the exam without any problems.
I also met with the instructors listed below, and they were wonderful people, completely different from the information I had received from reviews.

There have been some reviews saying that the instructors were "overbearing," but I didn't encounter a single instructor like that.
If this is a way of pointing out our mistakes, why not change your perspective and see it as guidance (a loving whip) with our best interests in mind as drivers in the future?
I recommend that you fully grasp the essence of instruction and communicate with others with a willingness to learn.
All the instructors are kind and accommodating.
I'm sure it varies from person to person, but for me it was a wonderful two weeks.
The nearby hot springs are highly recommended, so if you're tired from studying, why not go and relax?

I hope this helps anyone who is worried about reviews.

*The only disappointment is that there is only a convenience store nearby (it takes quite a walk).
If desserts and other items were available at the camp, I think students would be able to relax and study better.

It was really good because it was fun and had just the right amount of tension. When I asked about problems I was weak at, they gave me specific and precise advice on how to overcome them. All of the instructors were unique and easy to talk to, so I really enjoyed the lessons.
The receptionist was also very helpful with the schedule.
I was really nervous during the final exam, but the instructor helped me relax a bit, and although I made some mistakes, I was able to complete the course. Thank you so much.
Karuizawa West DS is the best👍

I went there as a training camp, and the food was delicious and the facility was equipped with Wi-Fi, making it easy to spend time there. None of the instructors were scary, and they taught me patiently and kindly until I gained the confidence to be able to stand on my own, so it was a very comfortable two weeks!

Thank you for your help during the training camp.
I turned 18 and was old enough to get a driver's license, but I was nervous about going to an unfamiliar place by myself for the first time for two weeks, but the people at the dorm gave me words of encouragement every day.
When a centipede appeared in my room, I called out to someone in the dorm and they picked it up with tissue, so I guess they're used to it (lol). It was really reassuring for me as I don't like bugs.

Due to COVID-19, I had to eat alone, but the food was delicious.

I had the impression that all the women at the reception desk were very kind.

As for the instructors, some were good and some were terrible.
Nice people would praise me while I was driving, and sometimes even give me warnings and advice.

I had two really terrible instructors.
I won't mention the name, but the greeting is very nice, but while driving, the person next to me talks to himself and distracts me, and when I can't teach him, he says things like, "Why can't you teach me now?" in a condescending manner. However, this person greeted me cheerfully, and I think it was really the way he said it, but his attitude was a bit disappointing.

As for the other instructor, as written in the reviews, he was a really bad instructor and didn't even say hello. It's over when you can't even say the most basic greeting.
For starters, he watches me drive while sitting next to me, and even his attitude when he's sitting there is big.
When they find something bad, they scold you and don't give you any positive feedback. If you think you did something well, the instructor will click his/her tongue. It's unbelievable.
When I talked to a friend I had become close with at the dorm about this, and we talked anxiously about how we didn't want to run into anyone, I asked the dorm staff about it, and they told me that the person in question doesn't have a very good reputation among the students. I agree with this.
They responded by saying that if you feel that way, please speak up and we will help you to avoid encountering such instructors.
Immediately after I told the woman at the dorm about this, she called me from the room asking if I could come to the reception desk. I wondered if she was talking about the instructor, and she said, "I'm sorry for making you feel uncomfortable. It hurt you, didn't it?" Even though it wasn't her doing, she apologized profusely, which made me feel bad.

After staying there for two weeks, I thought that the price, food, and comfort of living in the dormitory were fine, but the instructors were a bit hit or miss.
Due to COVID-19, I wasn't able to interact much with the students, but it was still a good experience.

There are some scary teachers, but most of them teach me kindly and carefully, and I can make small talk with them, so it's fun and I feel a little sad about graduating lol.
