Review introduction (49 reviews)

At first, I was worried about whether I would be able to graduate, but by listening carefully to the instructions, I was able to graduate without having to take extra classes, so it was a very good experience for me.
However, I think it would be boring to go alone during your free time, so I recommend enrolling with a friend.

The good thing about it was that I was riding a motorcycle, but the instructors taught me carefully. Everyone is very friendly and always smiling. Next, as for the students, you basically have to talk to them yourself to make friends. Some of them may look a little scary, but everyone is here with the same purpose and aspirations, so you have a lot of common topics to talk about and it's easy to make friends. If you can make friends to talk to, the waiting time won't be a pain. If you're wondering whether to commute or go to a training camp, the training camp is definitely the way to go. It's just the best.

The accommodation facilities were also very convenient and comfortable.
Although the program was short, lasting only four days, it was well-balanced and ended with a sense of tension.
You can get to Aeon and other stores in the area by using express buses, and do your shopping there.
I think it's good to relax and unwind in the great outdoors every now and then.
The rooms at the accommodation called Sunrise Okayama were clean and comfortable!

There were many other students who were taking the same spring break, so I quickly became friends with the people who shared a room with me in the dormitory and who sat next to me during academic lessons.
The instructor was friendly and the instructions were clear and easy to understand.
In my free time, I would relax with my roommate at a nearby tennis court.
I made a lot of good memories during my first Driving Camp.
If I have the opportunity to use this hotel again, I would like to stay here again.

It took the shortest time possible, six days.
It took a total of nine hours to work on the actual car, and although I was unfamiliar with the size at first, the instructions were easy to understand and I was able to get the hang of it.
I would like to work with you again if there is an opportunity. Thank you very much.
Also, try the restaurant near the driving school. Their horumon udon is really delicious (👍 ̄▽ ̄)👍

Some teachers are scary, while others are kind.
Even if you're worried about coming alone, why not be brave and take the first step!

I felt that the transportation was a little inconvenient, but there was a bus stop about a 10-minute walk away, so if I wanted to, I could go to karaoke or something in my spare time.
There is also a water server where you can drink tea, water, and juice for free.
thank you very much!

Some of the teachers have unique personalities so it may be that you don't get along with them as well, but they were all relatively good at teaching.
The accommodation was on the upper floors of the driving school, so it was easy to get around.
Meals are included, but they reminded me of school lunches and left me feeling unsatisfied.
However, the food tasted good and it was fun to eat it with the other students who enrolled at the same time as me.
Now that I have graduated successfully, I would like to come to Okayama for some leisurely sightseeing.

I learned a lot! The practical lessons were easy to understand, and I improved and passed the final exam! The food was also great, with delicious food every morning, lunch and dinner.
I think I'll get my regular driver's license here too.

The Wi-Fi at the accommodation was sometimes working and sometimes not, and there was no TV in the room, so I spent my free time reading the books I had brought with me.
It's been a while since I've had the time to touch my phone for so long.
The food was not very tasty and the bread was hard.
The instructor's teaching was average and the overall atmosphere of the driving school was not bad, so I will give it this rating.

The vending machines had Kit Kats and potato chips. It was a big school. A lot of my friends lived in this building. They all lived together!
How I felt when I graduated
I'm so happy, thank you, I'm so happy, why, why, I'm so happy (๑>◡<๑)
There is a heart written on the pamphlet near the door to the stone room after you leave the reception area. Look for it! (Photo included)
It was really fun. I don't want to graduate yet, but it makes me want to graduate.
If you are not confident, please sign up for the peace of mind package! Please! Really sign up!
Even if you have a problem, come in! It will make you feel safe!
Ah, I'm happy to graduate, but I want to go back to school. Maybe I should get the second-class citizenship. Maybe I should become a taxi driver.
It was fun talking to people from many different countries, like a wizard's school.
Thank you to the shuttle bus driver, it's a great service, everyone should take advantage of it!
Dondon Drive is a really funny TV show! It was hard to hold back my laughter! I'm going to cry, I'm going to cry, I'm going to cry

This article is truly my review! I was not forced to write it by my teacher! Don't worry! I really wrote it!

I wasn't that quick at improving my driving, and I had to take extra lessons twice at the beginning, but at the training camp I was able to get my driving skills done in just under three weeks, and although we had packed lunches at night, I was able to get decent meals in the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch as well, so I thought it was good that I came.
Since academic classes end early, those who are in the camp have a lot of free time on their hands, so to be honest, there are times when they feel like they have too much free time. Since you can't just come to school in the middle of the day or go home whenever you want, I think it's better to spend that time studying or playing with your phone.
And if there are people who are wondering whether to get a regular car or not, there are many regular car lessons available for medium-sized vehicles, and I think there are many people who later find that it is easier to drive a medium-sized vehicle. Also, having a medium-sized vehicle license will expand the range of work you can do, so I would definitely recommend getting a medium-sized vehicle license!
In my opinion, I would be happy to participate.

Although the teaching methods are strict and the teachers sometimes use harsh language, I think it is because they want the students to improve quickly.
There were many kind teachers. When I was driving on the highway and I was so nervous and scared, they told me, "You'll be fine because you're here," and I felt relieved. When I was depressed because I couldn't change direction, they encouraged me. I'm glad it was a good experience.
On the other hand, there were also students who did not understand Japanese, so the teachers must have had a hard time teaching them in an easy-to-understand way.
Many Vietnamese students enroll in our school despite being nervous and not good at Japanese for various reasons, such as their wives giving birth soon and needing a driver's license, or their jobs requiring a driver's license. We look forward to your continued support.

The teachers were all very interesting people and we had lots of fun talking to each other and learning.
I went to the convenience store and supermarket twice on the school shuttle bus. The bus leaves at 14:30 and 16:30, so I went there during my free time.
The rice is also delicious and the portions are generous, so I'm very satisfied.
I'm glad I came. It's a good memory. Thank you for your help!

I'm sad to go home

There are convenience stores, supermarkets, and post offices within a 20-minute walk, so it's very convenient! There is a shuttle bus, so it doesn't matter if it's hot or cold. ✌🏻 All the instructors were nice! You're lucky if you get to drive a Lexus on the highway. 😼 The cake shop nearby was delicious. 🏻 I don't want to go home. 😾

I think it's best not to rely too much on other reviews.
I had read that the teachers had bad attitudes, but that was not the case at all. They were very kind and I was able to spend a little less than two weeks there having fun. The hotel was Sunrise, but it had just been renovated, so the rooms were very clean and the bath was very spacious. (They don't provide shampoo, so it's better to bring your own two-week supply.)
There were no convenience stores nearby, which I thought was inconvenient, but the service was excellent and there was a shuttle service to the hot springs, convenience stores, and supermarkets about twice a day, so I never felt inconvenienced.
Breakfast was bread, vegetables, and orange juice, and lunch was a variety of things such as curry and Chinese rice bowl. At night, lunch boxes were served and we ate in our rooms. The taste was not super delicious, but I think it was much better than convenience stores.
All of the training cars were automatic Prius cars, but for highway training we drove Lexus cars.
Both the receptionists and the teachers were very cheerful and kind, so it was a lot of fun.
I'm really sad that we can't meet, but when we meet again, I'll take you on a drive❤️
↑I am not exaggerating at all, so please use this as a reference.

He also pointed out areas in my department where I tend to have trouble.
I think it's a good idea for those who are coming to the camp to bring everyday items such as a hair dryer. Also, convenience stores and supermarkets are about a 20-minute walk away, so it's better to use the bus that leaves from the driving school. If that's too much of a bother, it's better to bring water and snacks for when you get hungry. You have to leave the accommodation at 7:30 in the morning and get back at the earliest after 5:30, so you have to be at the driving school for quite a long time. After the theory was over, there was a lot of free time until the practical training started. Once you got used to it, it wasn't that boring.
I went there without any expectations at first, but I was glad that I had a lot of fun. I honestly recommend this to anyone looking for a driving school. Please give it a try.
I would like to thank the people at the driving school for their help. Thank you very much!

There seem to be several places to stay, and I stayed in a single room at Sunrise Okayama, which is about a 15-minute drive (pick-up and drop-off available) from the driving school.
I was able to get my large vehicle Type 2 license in one week because I also had a large vehicle Type 1 license (18 hours of instruction, 19 hours of theory).
Also, as other reviewers have said, the instructors were all very friendly and had fun teaching the young students who were there for lessons on regular vehicles, large vehicles, and motorcycles.
(There were also Halloween presents.)
Also, unlike in the city, the traffic volume is relatively light, so it may be good for first-time drivers (^^)
Lastly, I would like to thank the instructors, the cafeteria staff and the hotel staff for their help.

The school looks like a hospital from the outside, but the inside was nice and clean.
I got in the car as soon as I arrived at the camp, and I was surprised to see that it was a Prius.
The teachers were kind and I had fun talking to them outside of class. If you come to Shoei School, try talking to different people.
I stayed at a house called North, which was very clean and comfortable. The stars were beautiful at night. (It was a bit cold.)
When I came to Okayama, I found it inconvenient because there were very few shops around, but it was fun to experience the good things about the countryside. If you have time, try going for a walk! The scenery is amazing! I felt something I couldn't experience in the city.
I felt that this training camp was very meaningful for me.

Although the teachers' teaching methods are unique, I was impressed by the times when they firmly conveyed to me the seriousness of the responsibility of being a driver. I used to feel that I was not good at driving, but when they watched me not whether I was good or bad, but whether I could do it or not, I felt that I had gained an important realization now that I am an adult, that I should honestly reflect on and accept what I was taught. I thought that now was the only time I could study so thoroughly in my free time, so I read textbooks and the day passed by in a flash.
As the school is surrounded by nature, the air and starry sky are beautiful. Snow piled up on New Year's Eve, but they cleared it away so it didn't affect my lessons. It was very cold, so bringing a down jacket was a good idea. (The school was closed for one day over New Year's, so I was able to stay overnight at a nearby hot spring inn.)
I stayed in a single room at Petit Chateau, and it was enough for me as it had Wi-Fi, a kettle to boil water, and air conditioning. The bathroom only had a shower.
Perhaps it's the character of the people of Okayama, but I felt that many people were cool but calm and made the atmosphere lighter with jokes. Although the studies were hard, I was able to spend a very memorable and meaningful time. I am truly grateful to everyone who helped me.

However, as soon as I entered the driving school, I was comforted by the cheerful response of the staff and the friendliness of the students who enrolled at the same time, and I quickly felt at home.
There were many interesting instructors, so I was excited each day wondering which instructor would be assigned to me.
The accommodation is compact, but it provides an environment where you can relax and enjoy your free time.
Shoei Driving School is a driving school that women can use with confidence.

The dormitory is on the floor above the driving school and is a bit small.
It was convenient because I could return to my room immediately during free time or after class.
The meals seemed to consist mainly of frozen foods and pre-prepared meals from the supermarket.
I would have liked to have had some fresher vegetables as well.
I was a bit dissatisfied here and there, but I guess that's to be expected considering the price.

Petit Plaza Main Building, a men's only accommodation, is a 15 minute bus ride away.
It's an old building and they seem to clean it, but I was a little concerned about hygiene.
The food is honestly not tasty.
The miso soup was bland and the bread was hard.
You should go to the convenience store and buy food in bulk.
For those who don't want to go to a training camp in a high-quality environment, the price is reasonable and it's a good option.

If you are staying at the new Petit Chateau, be sure to bring a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap with you.
There is a pot so it would be convenient to bring instant noodles etc.
Even though I did poorly in school, I still got my license.
The air conditioner will be on in the summer, so if you feel cold, it's a good idea to bring something to put on.
If you don't like mornings, try your best, as this will help you lead a regular life.

Instructors are hit or miss.
There was one time when I had a quirky instructor and it was a struggle.
The accommodation is small.
Wi-Fi was sometimes available and sometimes not.
I ate a lot of fried foods at lunch and dinner, which caused me to develop acne during the training camp.
The food at the convenience store two kilometers away is much tastier.
Next time I attend a driving school, I will do my research properly beforehand before making a decision.
