• About the instructors
Everyone was kind and the lessons were very easy to understand. They also answered my questions clearly and were very helpful!

• About the dormitory for the training camp
There was a women-only dormitory, and it was great because it was equipped with a hairdryer, hair straightener, and ReFa showerhead.
It seems they recently hired a cleaning company, and the place was very clean.

The meals were healthy, mainly consisting of vegetables, and tasted like home cooking – they were delicious.

• About the surrounding environment
There was a convenience store, supermarket, and drugstore near the dormitory, all within about a 5-minute bike ride.
Also, there's a gelato shop, a soba noodle shop, a sea bream ramen shop, and a cafe nearby, so I had a really enjoyable time!

I'm a former student who stayed at the training camp until today. To be honest, it was the best. All the instructors were incredibly kind, and the driving lessons were enjoyable with plenty of time for conversation. They were also very thorough in their instruction and always answered any questions with a big smile. The accommodation was very clean, and the cleaning ladies cleaned it meticulously every day. I also became very close with the other students. In my free time, I could go out to eat nearby, and all the restaurants nearby were incredibly delicious. The food at the dorm was great once you got used to it. The access was also great once you got used to it. Thank you so much!

I used this service for a 2-week and 2-day intensive course during my university summer break to obtain a regular driver's license (manual transmission).
The accommodation was clean, and although the office looked old from the outside, the toilets were clean and it was a comfortable place to stay. The instructors spoke in dialect, which might come across as a little harsh, but they were all kind and taught me well, allowing me to relax and enjoy the lessons. The reception staff were also friendly and made me feel at ease. The free cafeteria for those staying for the course served healthy and delicious food, and best of all, the ladies who ran the cafeteria were kind and friendly, so I never got homesick. It felt like I had gained a new grandmother. On the first day, I wanted to go home as soon as possible, but when it was time to leave, I was so sad to say goodbye to the instructors, reception staff, and cafeteria ladies that I almost cried. It was a fulfilling and enjoyable two weeks. I am truly glad that I was able to get my driver's license, a once-in-a-lifetime experience, at Awa Driving School.

For those staying for a training camp, I recommend the Awa no Dochuu (earth pillars of Awa) to kill time. You can also go to the nearby Karaoke Box City Land, or cycle to Mima City where you can find a McDonald's.

All the teachers were incredibly kind, and the two weeks went by so quickly that I didn't want to leave. Everyone was so friendly, fun, and it was such a warm and welcoming place.

The dorms (for women) are clean, and they have Panasonic and ReFa hair dryers and irons, which is very convenient!
The washing machine and dryer are clean, and I can live comfortably without any inconveniences.
Apparently there's a Cosmos store, a Daiso (100-yen shop), and a karaoke place nearby, and it's a bit far to walk, but you can rent bicycles, so everyone was bravely going by bike, lol.

It was such a warm and welcoming place that I didn't want to leave, and every day flew by in an instant.

When I get my new driver's license, I'd like to come back here, even though it's far away!

Thanks to the friendly and very warm instructors, I was able to enjoy my driving lessons.
I was able to learn about things to be careful of while driving, driving tips, and more, all in a fun way with the instructors.
I went there for a training camp, and the lady in the cafeteria took care of me with three meals a day. I was supported every day by her kindness.

I obtained my Class 2 Large Vehicle Driver's License through a training camp.
It took 14 days from enrollment to receiving my driver's license.

◾️All the driving instructors are very kind, and they explain the key points clearly when you're having trouble, and they praise you for what you've done well.
◾️The written exam had a wealth of practice problems categorized by difficulty level, even down to the smallest details, making the actual exam questions at the testing center seem easy in comparison.
◾️The receptionist meticulously managed the schedule, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. They also promptly answered all my detailed questions.
◾️The cafeteria always prepared different menus, which allowed me to maintain excellent health even when the environment changed.
◾️The dormitory is cleaned thoroughly every day and is always spotless.

I would definitely like to use your services again for another license in the future. Thank you so much.

I received excellent service during my training camp for my large vehicle driver's license. The instructors were kind and helpful, and the office staff were also very friendly.
The dormitory was new and clean. The cafeteria lady made delicious meals every day, which was a great help. I highly recommend Awa Driving School.

I successfully obtained my Class 2 driver's license today.
I had planned to take my time with the coursework and practical training by commuting to school, but that didn't work out. So, they created a schedule similar to that of the students in the training camp, and I was able to obtain my license in no time.
It was quite a demanding schedule...
The parts of the Class 2 driver's license test that I struggled with were the depth perception test and the effectiveness test.
During my first depth perception test, the bar in the middle didn't appear to be moving, and I was devastated when I was told, "You can't get your license if you can't see this." However, I was relieved of my despair after being patiently taught how to see it.
The effectiveness test was way too difficult... (I failed twice in a row and went home disappointed) but I passed on my third try.
I'll come back when I want to get another license.

For me, this was the best driving school because of the amazing people who worked there.

First of all, the ladies at the reception desk were very kind to us, even though we had come all the way from Tokyo. They were very friendly and helpful. They answered any questions we had.

As for the instructors who taught me, they ranged from cheerful people who talked a lot and gave advice on driving, to quiet people who only spoke the bare minimum unless I spoke to them first. Regarding the former, only a few older instructors talked a lot, which might be annoying for those who want to concentrate on driving. However, having attended driving school in Tokyo, I found the instructors who talked a lot to be very valuable, and I had a very enjoyable time. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who might feel awkward if they don't talk much!

Lastly, I want to warn anyone coming for the training camp: the food in the cafeteria is honestly pretty meager. Apparently, due to budget constraints, they can't serve much meat, so they try to fill you up with rice. (laughs)
But the ladies who work in the cafeteria are all very kind!

The only downside to this driving school is the food in the cafeteria for students enrolled in the intensive course!
