You can get other documents from the landlord who rents out the parking space or from the police station. Fill out the necessary information and submit it to the police station along with the seal certificate obtained from the city hall.
The reason why you must obtain a garage certificate is because you need to store your purchased or acquired car in a parking lot, and it is necessary to prove that you are properly renting the parking space.
1. Application for vehicle storage location certificate
The first is the Automobile Storage Location Certificate Application Form.
This can be obtained at the police station. All people who purchase a car must fill out the Automobile Storage Location Certificate Application.
When filling out this form, be sure to confirm with the dealer in advance the model, chassis number and size of the car you wish to purchase.
2. Application for storage location mark issuance
The second is the [Application for Storage Location Mark Issuance].
A storage spot badge is a sticker issued by a police station when you apply for a storage spot for your car and are approved to park your car.
The application form for a storage location emblem is a document required to issue a storage location emblem (a sticker to be affixed to a car) to prove that the car has a garage. When purchasing a light vehicle, it is treated as a [notification] and the same date as the notification date must be filled in. (It is also required when the owner of a regular vehicle changes, or when the address of the home or company changes.) When purchasing a regular vehicle, it is treated as an [application] and there is no need to fill in the date.

You can also get a location map and layout map from the police station. A location map is a map that shows the relative positions of the "main place of use of the car (your home, etc.)" and the "storage place" and indicates the straight-line distance between them.

*If you are storing your vehicle on your own property, you do not need to indicate the straight-line distance. The left side shows how far the parking lot is from your home, and the right side shows the width and length of the parking lot, as well as the number of cars that can be parked.

4. Certificate of consent for use of storage location
The fourth is a [Certificate of Consent to Use Storage Location].
This can also be obtained at the police station. If the place where you park your car is not your own land (rented parking lot of an apartment or condominium), you will need to fill out this form. If you need a storage space use consent form, you do not need a storage space use right document.
5. Document proving right to use storage location (self-acknowledgement)
The fifth is a document proving right to use storage location (letter of acknowledgement).
This can also be obtained from the police station. The document proving the right to use the storage space is required if the parking space is on your own land. If you need the document proving the right to use the storage space, you do not need the consent form to use the storage space.
6. Seal Certificate
