The surrounding area had the feel of an old castle town, neither too urban nor too rural.
I have always longed to live in a town with this kind of atmosphere, so I was incredibly excited when I arrived.
Although the lesson schedule was tight, I had a lot of free time.
So I had a great time with the friends I made here.
Even though I had a lot of free time, I was able to take lessons every day, so I was able to graduate within the scheduled period.
The accommodation wasn't a dedicated training camp, but more like an apartment.
It was quite spacious, and the surrounding environment was nice, so I was able to relax.
After considering it from various angles, I believe I was able to choose a really good driving school.

There are many opportunities to make friends with teachers and classmates, so it's fun when relationships go well. The kindness of the people is the best thing about this place. It was fun.

・Although WiFi is available, there are many residents so the connection tends to be heavy at night. It's fine for normal internet browsing, but it may not be enough for watching videos or playing games.
・I stayed in a single room, but the room was quite spacious. It was equipped with a TV, refrigerator, bed, safe, unit bath, built-in desk, and two folding desks. I don't know what the double rooms are like, but I think you'll be able to stay there comfortably. The soundproofing means you can't hear the noise or voices of your neighbors, but there is some sound leakage from outside the room, so be careful about the volume and voice volume.
・The unit bath only has a toilet brush, but no detergent or deodorant. You can either bring your own in advance, or buy them at a large pharmacy near the station, or you can use the toilets at the driving school, which are equipped with washlets. I bought everything at the pharmacy.
・Smoking areas are located outside the dormitory. Please be aware that smoking is not permitted after 10pm.
【meal】
・You will be provided with lunch boxes for all meals. They will be left out at set times, so be careful not to forget to pick them up.
[Surrounding area]
・Because it is in the mountains, the nearest convenience store is 2km away... quite far away. If you want to go to a convenience store or a small supermarket, you can rent a bicycle or take the bus, whichever you prefer. However, if you go by bicycle, the uphill climb on the way back is tough, so please consider your physical strength.
・There is one private house near the driving school, and there are three vending machines lined up there.
[Driving school]
・The facility is quite old. There is construction going on soon.
・There are quite a few classrooms, but the department only uses classrooms 1 and 2. The other classrooms are generally not used except during exams.
・Classroom 1 has a large TV, so it's easy to watch the instructional videos. The desks and chairs are like those you used in elementary and junior high school.
・The second classroom is spacious, but the TV is very small, so if you have poor eyesight, it is best to sit near the front. The desks and chairs are conference tables with metal chairs.
・The driving simulator used in the first stage is made in the Showa era, so the video stops and the speed goes too fast. I wonder if there's anything I can do about it. Well, you can get the basic operation, so don't rush and do your best.
・The simulator used in the second stage is new, but it is designed for automatic transmissions, so manual transmission drivers may be a little confused. Also, be careful as your sense of balance may be slightly disturbed.
[Instructor]
・I get the impression that most of the students are over 50 years old. As far as I know, there are only two of them. There are also female instructors, but I didn't meet them except during the academic department.
・Each instructor has a different teaching style. Some instructors teach each movement in detail, while others teach in a general way. It all comes down to compatibility.
・There are some instructors who are overbearing. I only had this happen to me once, but I've seen some people who have been hit by it many times and are feeling down. I think if you tell the receptionist, they will probably make arrangements to ensure that you are not assigned to that instructor.
・The course will basically be taught by video. The instructor will use videos and PowerPoints, and occasionally supplement with textbooks. However, both the first and second basic levels can be completed in about three days, so exam preparation is self-study. I recommend using your free time to progress through "Perfect Points" or install a study app to study.
・The practical training will involve following the instructor's instructions. The second stage is mainly outdoor training, with turning and parallel parking only done twice at the end.

I was staying at a place called Leopalace, and there was only one shuttle bus a day, one in the morning and one in the evening, so it was difficult to get home before the time was up, but when I had free time during the day, I could take a walk to Kururi Station, which was fun.

I was able to become very close with both boys and girls and have a lot of memories! I had some complaints about the facility, but I think it's up to the individual whether they enjoy it or not!
Many people came alone, and I was able to make friends regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
When I met a scary old teacher, everyone comforted me.
In my free time, I enjoyed running along the rice paddy paths.
There are free shuttle buses to supermarkets and convenience stores, but they are not too far to walk, so if the weather is nice, we recommend walking there to change your mood.

It is a deluxe single room, probably a 1LDK layout.
We get three bento meals a day and the driving school is just a minute's walk away.
Basically everything you need to live is provided, but here are some things you should bring to make your life more comfortable:
・ Spare bath towels and hand towels
・Fabric softener and Wide Haiter
・Toothpaste
・People with big appetites eat rice and instant noodles.
Please refer to the photos for the room facilities.
There is a freezer and a rice cooker, so if you don't mind, feel free to use them.
There is nothing nearby, so if you don't have a car, it's a good idea to bring some drinks and snacks with you.
If you are sensitive to smells, don't forget to use Febreze.
There is nothing around so it is comfortable for those who have a car, but difficult for those who don't.
Accommodations rated on a 10-point scale

I'm grateful for the gel balls. Overall it's comfortable.
Next, regarding the driving school, the building is very old and appears to have been used since the end of the war.
The only instructors I got right were 119, 139, and 145, and although 139 was speaking broken Japanese and I couldn't really understand what he was saying, the other two were really nice.
It was helpful that the lessons were scheduled consecutively.
I have obtained various licenses in various places, but this place is not strict so I recommend it even for those who are not confident.
Because the tough parts are tough.

I came to the training camp during my summer holidays from university, and the surrounding environment was so nice that it felt like I was at a resort.
Although I still had to take lessons every day, I still had days off, so I still had time to enjoy a little sightseeing.
I also made some friends here, so being able to take lessons together was a good thing.
I was able to get my driver's license safely during the summer vacation.
I was considering commuting to a school, but I'm glad I went to a training camp.

I thought he was a very scary person.
However, once I actually started taking lessons, I realized that although he had a bit of a rough mouth, he was a kind instructor.
I am very satisfied with the accommodation and food.
I never expected to have such a comfortable stay and eat such delicious food at the training camp, so it was a pleasant surprise.
The surroundings were nice and it was comfortable and fun.

The attitude of the staff was cold.
If they had been a little more friendly, I think my impression would have been different.
It's not that I had a bad experience, but it was disappointing.
The instructors' guidance also had a somewhat bureaucratic feel to it, and was not at all approachable or friendly.
Because of this, I was a little nervous during the practical training.
The academic lessons were also hard to understand.
The atmosphere in the classroom was not very good either.
The accommodation facilities were very good and comfortable.

Some teachers are scary, while others are kind.
Even if you're worried about coming alone, why not be brave and take the first step!
Kazusa, it was a very good school for me. Thank you very much to everyone.

There are smoking areas outside the school, so smokers can feel safe.
Although the teaching methods may differ from person to person, the basics are generally the same.
Dormitories vary in whether they have separate smoking or non-smoking areas, but there is a smoking area outside so it doesn't matter which dormitory you stay in.
I thought that West Compote might be a better choice for people who don't like unit baths.

Anyway, the dorm (environment aside) was so clean that I wanted to live there myself.
As for the environment, there are no convenience stores nearby, which is really inconvenient. (There are plenty of home appliances, so I think it's fine to bring what you need in advance.)
For people who like alcohol, the ban on drinking is a tough one.

There were so many things I didn't understand and the atmosphere was not great.
It's summer vacation, so there are a lot of students, and it seems like they don't get proper support.
I didn't have time to ask the instructor any questions.
In principle, you can take lessons according to the schedule set by the school, but other than that it feels like there is nothing.
The schedule was pretty tight, so I was always on edge.
The accommodation and food were average, and I was able to live quite comfortably.

Even though it was a training camp, I thought there would be a bit more time to play and have some free time, so I was really disappointed.
There is some free time in between, but it's too short to get anything done.
There were many tourist spots near the driving school and the dormitory, but I didn't have time to enjoy them at all.
I made some friends during the camp, so I wish I could have spent more time with them.
Well, considering that you can get your license in a short period of time, I guess you can't ask for such luxury.
Of course, I was able to graduate in the shortest possible time.
It's not a bad idea if you're just thinking about getting a license.

Many of the teachers would get angry and shout at each other even though it was their first time meeting, which caused quite a mental breakdown for everyone around us.
There are some nice teachers,
It basically depends on the teacher's mood.
If students don't get along with each other and help each other, they'll be dead in three days.
Classes run until 9:30pm.
I thought that you can't survive here without the ability to ignore things.

The Leopalace dormitory in Kisarazu is the worst. First of all, it takes more than 30 minutes by bus to get to school. It takes about 4 hours to walk there, so it's impossible.
If you can't catch the bus that comes at 7:15 every morning, you have to pay a cancellation fee for classes. And after spending a depressing, boring time at school, you can only return to the Leopalace dormitory after all the other students in the dormitory have finished their classes. In other words, if your class ends in the morning but others have until 6pm, you have to wait in the school's dirty break room (the school facilities, including the cars, are dirty). The bus driver is very friendly and I think you'll be able to get along with most of the people. (Of course, there is no Wi-Fi at the school or in the dormitory.)
And it's not just the location that's the worst. The beds in the Leopalace dormitory are covered in body hair from the previous resident. And the towels from the previous resident are left there, which makes you question their sensibilities as a person.
The Leopalace dormitory has nothing except a microwave, washing machine, electric stove, small TV, toilet/shower, air conditioner, and futon. The location is also terrible, so if you read this post and want to go, I recommend that you buy and prepare everything in advance.
Also, the only way to find out the schedule of classes on the day is to look at the paper posted on the morning of the day. You will wonder if this is really the Reiwa era. So even if you live in a dormitory near the school, you need to arrive at the school at around 8am in order to not be late for class and check the schedule. How inefficient. I was surprised.
I think everyone has different opinions about teachers, but I only had two teachers that I thought were good. Most teachers were bad at teaching, or just lost their temper and didn't teach me technical things properly, and the older teachers didn't know what they were talking about.
Since everyone's opinions will vary, it's a good idea to check out other people's reviews as well.
There are other negative points, such as the bento being too small and not tasty, so I could go on and on about them, but that's all for now. I hope this is helpful for those who are considering enrolling in the school.
*To smokers
There are no smokers on campus, and you must smoke at the ashtray in front of the dormitory, which is about a 3-minute walk from the school building. If you have consecutive classes, you only have a 5-minute break, so it is impossible to take a smoke break.
*For those attending Driving School
There is no need to reply to this post. As others have written, it is clear that the problems have not been fixed for a long time. Therefore, there is no need for superficial apologies. If you have time to reply, I strongly recommend that you use that time to improve the school, dormitories, teachers, etc.

There is really nothing around the driving school or the dormitory, so there is no place to relax.
However, there are many deer sika deer, so it is recommended for those who like their cute cries.

Be careful, because there are instructors who get angry from the first day's practical training, or who keep coughing next to you. Also, considering the poor hygiene of the food, the training center, and the dormitory, and the poor location, you really should be prepared if you enroll.
