I went to the training camp alone, but all the instructors were very kind and I had fun driving. There were a lot of interesting and quirky instructors, so I looked forward to checking the morning schedule wondering who would be in charge that day.
Of course, the driving on the first day was so funny that I wondered if I could even drive a car.
Veteran teachers will teach you the tricks so you'll improve quickly!
The girls' dormitory may or may not be listed on the website.
There is a kettle, laundry rack, hangers, a mirror, a microwave, dishwashing detergent, a sponge, and a regular hair dryer!
I went there with a lot of luggage without knowing.
If you are going, I think it's enough to bring a change of clothes, laundry detergent, and other things you need.
(Even if you bring a curling iron to curl your hair, you won't have time to do it, so if you're not good at mornings, it's better not to bring one and reduce your luggage! I never curled my hair even once lol)
There is a large pharmacy nearby that has everything you need, and there are also convenience stores nearby, so don't worry!
However, there are few buses
What if I oversleep and miss the shuttle bus?
Be prepared for it to be hectic! LOL
I made it to the shuttle bus just in time, but I was a bit worried when I woke up 5 minutes before the bus arrived 😂
Whenever I have a question about my studies, I am very grateful that they explain it to me until I understand it!
Don't worry about what to do, just ask the teachers and they will teach you anything!
Whenever I would look at Chika-sensei with a "what should I do, help me?" look on my face, she would always kindly ask me what was wrong and help me out 😂
When the teachers seemed busy, we studied together with the students who were at the camp, checking answers and so on!
The students at the camp were all very kind, so I didn't feel lonely even though I went alone!
Don't worry! You can make friends!
It's totally fine if you don't mind being alone☺️
(I was one of the people who thought it would be rude to be alone at first lol)
When I had free time after a day of studying, I would go to Kawagoe by bus with some of the kids I had become friends with during the training camp and eat yakiniku.
I enjoyed it as if I was a student 😊
Three meals a day were provided and bottled drinks were provided every morning, so it was easy to get through the day.
However, since there is a lot of fried food, you might get a little tired of the rice, but it will still fill you up!
Thanks to the kind instructors, I can now drive properly outside! Probably! Lol
On the day I decided to graduate, the teachers who had been so kind to me were on vacation or in classes, so I was unable to properly thank them or say goodbye, which is a shame😞💦
Thank you everyone so much for the past two weeks!
I highly recommend this driving school.
P.S. I kept my promise to write a review, Dr. Kaneko 😊 lol
I was crying so hard when I got my provisional license, but I got my full license on the first try! I'm so impressed! lol

This is a retro driving school with a Showa era feel. Although the facilities are old, you can enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere.
The instructors are kind and provide thorough instruction, so I think it's a comfortable learning environment.
I had the impression that driving school instructors were often sarcastic and made unnecessary remarks, but the instructors here make sure you can concentrate on driving.
Thanks to the accurate instruction, I passed the final exam on the first try. I was prepared to have to stay longer because of the points deducted for failing to pass the sharp corner, but I'm glad I was able to overcome the final test. To be honest, I'm half happy and half sad, and if I had a meaner instructor, I would have definitely failed lol
As for the meals, for breakfast, bread, rice balls and drinks from Family Mart are provided. Lunch and dinner are delivered by a company, and the taste is rated 2 out of 5, and the volume is also 2nd, so it may not be enough for men.
Also, the indoor environment of the men's dormitory was very clean, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. There is a Lawson within a 5-minute walk. A short walk from there is a Chinese restaurant called Manmantei. The fried rice, yakisoba and stamina ramen there were excellent.
Lastly, the director is a very kind person. On the first day, I picked up the wrong key to my dorm room, and even though it was outside of business hours, he returned it to me without any complaints. Even when I was worried about the camp life, he was concerned about me and I was happy to receive words of encouragement.
I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

It was great that everyone was able to teach me so carefully!
I was worried about whether I would be able to graduate on the set date, but it seems like most people are able to graduate without having to stay overnight, so I don't think there's any need to worry too much!
It may be difficult to get used to your new environment and driving and academic studies, but once you get over that, it's not that difficult and it will be over rather quickly, so just do your best at the beginning!
Generally, all driving schools were air-conditioned, so I was able to concentrate on my studies.
We were given a variety of amenities, and there were plenty of laundry supplies and home appliances available, so it was much easier to live there than I expected!
As for food, we were given a bottle of tea in the morning, and the food was warm and delicious. Personally, I thought the soba, udon, and curry were delicious! The portions were ample, so I didn't have to buy my own food, which was nice.
Due to the coronavirus, the station isn't that close by, and the academic and practical classes are quite packed, so I basically just go back and forth between the dormitory and the driving school and can't go out much.
I thought it was pretty tough for the first 2 days until I got used to it, but when it was over I even thought it might have been a little fun, so I think it was a good experience! Thank you!

The teachers are very kind and will help you relax if you are nervous!
Thank you to all the teachers who were involved!
In particular, I would like to thank Professor Kaneko, Professor Kamata, Professor Goto, Professor Aoyagi, and Professor Sato!
I'll come and show it to you when I buy an 86 and get my beginner's mark removed haha
I'm really thankful to you!!

Pros
The dorms are clean. The men's dorm Flora is close to a supermarket and is within a 10-minute walk from the station. There is also a convenience store nearby. The women's dorm and the other men's dorm are a little far from the station, but it seems that the convenience store is close by. The Flora dorm is new, has a bathtub, and has Wi-Fi, which was nice. There are sofas and other things to relax on. If you bring an Amazon Fire stick, you can kill time.
Most of the instructors are veterans. If you don't understand something, please ask. It's no good waiting for them to tell you. If you ask about something you're unsure about, they will tell you.
In the morning, the menu changes daily and includes bread, rice balls, small bento boxes, noodles, etc.
I have a bento for lunch.
In the evening, I either eat the same company lunch as I did for lunch, or a different company lunch.
It's included in the camp fee, so there's nothing to complain about. It's delicious.
There are convenience stores and small supermarkets near the driving lessons, so that's nice too.
Cons
There's nothing particularly bad about it, but just my opinion.
First of all, this may be the case for other training camps as well.
In the morning, someone came to pick me up and take me to the driving school.
I arrived at 7:30 and my first class was in the afternoon.
This kind of thing happens quite often.
Nebosuke will probably just want to go to sleep, but we need to go together in the morning, even if it's from noon.
The schedule for the day will be announced on the day, so unless you go in the morning you won't know whether you will be teaching in the morning or afternoon.
However, if I knew in advance that it would start in the afternoon, I think I could spend my time more meaningfully.
Cleaning of the dormitory comes every day, so it has to be in the morning, but if I knew from the beginning that it would be in the afternoon, I could go to the driving school on my own and go sightseeing somewhere in the morning or kill some time.
In my case, on days when I finished early, I would go see the planetarium in Omiya.
However, if you get caught in traffic jams and can't make it in time, even though it's only from noon, the camp schedule will change. It's a difficult situation. So rather than asking for improvements, please come prepared for that. I think it's better than finding out after you've arrived.
There are buses from the driving school to Kawagoe, Omiya, and Minami-Furuya. It takes less than 30 minutes to walk to Minami-Furuya. There are not many places to kill time near the driving school. There is a McDonald's about 20 minutes walk away. On the other hand, depending on the content, there are days when you leave after 10 o'clock. On days when you finish early, you can get the key and go home. If you want to go to Kawagoe at night, you can just get the key and not take the shuttle bus.
The rest area for the boys' camp is a little cold. It can't be helped since it's an old building. Please dress warmly.
Depending on the situation, you may have a lesson first thing in the morning and the next one in the evening (leaving a gap of more than 6 hours).
I think there are various reasons for those attending the training camp and those commuting to the school.
This is a possibility, so be prepared to kill time.
I was reading manga on my phone all the time.
The dormitory is very clean, but it only has the bare minimum. Even if you want to cook by yourself, there are no pots or pans (my ex doesn't want me to cook).
Well, I guess it can't be helped since three meals a day are included.
If you really want to cook, there are kettles etc., so a cheap pot from Daiso would be fine.
Most of the staff are nice people too.
However, some people are a bit unfriendly.
Although it's a school, it's a paid job, so I think it would be okay if they could improve their communication skills a little more. It seems like there are people who serve customers with a smile and people who serve customers with a sulky look.
There are also quite a lot of young students, so some of them seem a bit cocky.
I guess he's at the age where he wants to show off.
Please watch over them with a little warmth.
However, some children just put their feet on the desk.
In that case, please be gentle and careful.
Overall, I think it's a good school.
I'm glad that I was able to get the large Type 2 license here.
thank you very much.

During the lesson, Instructor Ishikawa had a fun conversation with me, so I was able to drive in a relaxed atmosphere! Thank you very much! If I have the opportunity, I would like to come to this driving school for a license training camp again. I look forward to seeing you then!

He taught me the lessons carefully and without any problems.
There was one person who was strict, but I think it was good guidance because getting behind the wheel comes with a lot of responsibility.
I was right to choose the deluxe dormitory; it was new, spacious, very clean, quiet and comfortable.
I recommend you don't skimp on the money and choose the deluxe option.
There are several large supermarkets near the dormitory, so I recommend checking them out.
3 Meals Provided, but I didn't think they were very tasty. Still, I'm grateful for whatever is available.
One thing that could be improved is that with the training camp, you don't know what time the practical training will start until the morning of the day. The dormitory is located far from the driving school, so I recommend bringing something to kill time.
There was one bus driver who was driving recklessly, but I think he will be disciplined soon.
The driving school itself is by no means the cleanest, but I'm glad I went there.

What's more, in the department, we could learn by watching videos, which was even better.
The training camp location was clean and easy to live in, and they also provided transportation to and from work every morning, which was great.
There is a supermarket nearby, so you can go shopping after finishing work early in the evening.

I stayed in a double room at Flora, and the room was clean and I was able to spend two weeks stress-free. The teachers were kind and gave easy-to-understand explanations, which helped me gain confidence in driving. Thank you very much.

There were many teachers who were good at teaching, so even though it was a short period of time, I was able to feel that my skills were improving.
The two weeks went by in a flash, but it was a lot of fun.
It was a place I would recommend to friends.

Among the teachers who taught me in theory and practical training, there were various teachers, such as teachers who were interesting to talk to, teachers who taught me kindly, and teachers who were a little strict. This time, I was able to do my best until the end because I was riding with teachers who were kind and often praised me!
I don't like curry, so Sunday dinner was a struggle for me (laughs).

When I looked at my schedule it seemed incredibly packed and I wasn't sure I could manage it.
However, perhaps because the teaching method was so good, I ended up completing what I needed to do in no time at all.
Everyone around me was able to graduate properly, so I guess the overall level is high.
The school building has a nice atmosphere, and accommodation and meals are also provided.

That was nice, but the instructor was not very friendly.
It wasn't that I didn't understand the content of the lessons at all, but I felt like I wasn't very good at it, and perhaps there are rules about how the lessons are taught, but I often found myself frustrated.
But I don't think he was a bad person at all; in fact, I think he was a good person.
The accommodation was much nicer than I had imagined, spacious, and had all the amenities I needed.
Meals are provided every day, so there's nothing to be hassled about.
Well, the food didn't taste that good, but it wasn't inedible.

I started from a completely ignorant state, so I was at a loss.
The academic course was online, so I was able to progress at my own pace, but I just couldn't master my driving skills... Even though I thought I understood it intellectually, my handling of the wheel was like riding a roller coaster, and I'm sure it scared the instructors who changed every hour 😜ོ
There were many times when I almost lost confidence in my driving ability, which showed no signs of improvement, but thanks to the encouragement of my instructors, the smiling welcome from Director Kaneko-san every morning, and his kind words, I was able to successfully obtain my provisional license and graduate in just two weeks without any delays.
I was surprised that I was able to complete the three-month graduation period in just two weeks during the training camp, and I am very grateful to the instructors who taught me.
It was a very short period of time, but I was immersed in studying every day... it was probably my first experience (laughs).
But it was a very intense and fulfilling two weeks.
There were some instructors that I didn't have any contact with at all, but I especially thank Professor Teru, Professor Goto, and Professor Kubo for their help. Thank you very much (๑´ㅂ`๑)
Mr. Teru accompanied me on my first practical test on the first day of school, my first road test after getting my provisional license, parallel lining and turning, and Final Driving Test. When I finally managed to complete the parallel lining on the first try, which I hadn't been able to do until I was trying to figure out the time just before the final test, he said to me, "That was my ideal parallel lining," and I was so happy and moved that I burst into tears 😂
When graduation was decided, I felt a mixture of sadness, happiness, and many other emotions, and I cried until the very end (lol).
💮Then, just the other day on May 1st, I passed the test and got my full license on the first try✩.*˚💮
I ran about 100km in three days during Golden Week🚗💨
I will never forget what I have learned every day,
I will continue studying (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧
Thank you very much ( ˊᵕˋ🙏🏻 )

I'm glad I was able to graduate safely!
The teacher was kind and easy to work with.
The only thing that bothered me was that the dormitory was in Building 4, and the frogs in the neighboring rice fields were pretty loud at night lol
I think Flora and the girls' dorms will probably be okay.
If it bothers you, bring earplugs.
*For those moving into Building 4*
5-6 minutes walk to convenience store (Lawson)
Sugi Pharmacy is a 7-8 minute walk away, and next door is Kozo Sushi and a fried chicken restaurant.
The taste is pretty average.
From the bus stop (Nishi-Yuma Fire Station) to the nearest station (Sashiogi Station), it is a 10-minute taxi ride (cost is about 1,000 yen)
I think it was about 200 yen for the bus!
Depending on the timing of the training camp, there are days off and days when you can go home early, so if you want to go home on your own, you can leave around noon!
There is a bus stop right in front of the driving school that goes to Kawagoe Station and also to a bus stop near the dormitory (Nishi-Yuma), so please use your time wisely and make the most of your camp!
lastly
I hope to work with you again if the opportunity arises!
thank you very much!
To Dr. Kaneko! I wrote a proper review 👍

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I'm glad I enrolled in Furuya Driving School.
During the lessons, the teachers take turns teaching at random, so I thought it was great that there was always a sense of tension. Even though there was a sense of tension, the teachers were all kind.

The school is dirty
There were spider webs on the inside of the windows and dust. The toilet was also dirty.
The shuttle bus driver was rough and, although it depends on the person, I got drunk every time.

When I was getting my provisional license, I was instructed to do so but I didn't hear, so I looked over from the back seat and was told it was creepy.
Is it possible that, as a teacher, he can't tell the difference between what is okay to say and what is not?
The female teacher is relatively good, but I don't know if she's the director of the facility or what, but she's always angry. It would be fine if she learned something by getting angry, but is it bad for her to yell at people who don't understand Japanese very well?
There is a huge gap between Japanese and non-Japanese people
These are reviews from teachers rather than reviews from here.
There are too many idiots. Before teaching them traffic rules, I think it would be better for them to not do things that they would not like to be told.
Why don't you learn from elementary school, Grandpa? The foreigners who come here have much more common sense than you.
In the first place, if you call yourself a teacher, you should be careful about your tone, right? You're getting paid by the students to teach them, right? Do you think it's okay to call them creepy or stupid even though you're getting paid? If you're that careless, wouldn't it be better not to take their money?
Terukatsuhisa, it's you.

It's really unpleasant! The instructors are really good, but there were two or three who slept during the lesson, were rude, spoke condescendingly and made fun of me, and were only friendly when they first took the money at the reception desk, and were all sloppy after they had paid!
It seems like he doesn't really want to teach. I think it's better to quit.
