It was a very fulfilling two weeks.
Initially, I was considering a driving school in Shizuoka with good reviews, but I decided on this one, which is easily accessible by train and has a free shuttle bus.
I was really nervous on the day of the training camp, but I went with the determination that even if something unpleasant happened, I could just work hard for the two weeks.
He had the skills from the day of the training camp, but he was afraid of the accelerator and only pressed the brake.
At that moment, a female instructor pointed out to me, "Don't worry, we're here if anything happens. Just step on the accelerator!" From then on, I worked hard and slowly managed to step on the accelerator.
The instructors are all friendly and good at teaching.
During the first stage, I learned driving skills almost every hour, so it was hard to keep up, but even if I made a mistake, they carefully explained it to me. (For example, when I tried to turn the steering wheel back to avoid hitting something when I was turning the car around a curve, but I didn't get the feeling and I almost hit something or ran over something, they gave me clear answers many times to my questions, such as "how many times should I turn to the right here so that I don't run over or hit something.")
It seems that there are some teachers who are strict, but it felt more like they were just pointing out things rather than getting angry.
Even though it is a business, the instructors are entrusting their lives to different students every hour, so I think it is ok to be a little strict...
The classes are also online, so you can take them at the accommodation or in the classroom. The content was very easy to understand.
The academic schedule can be taken at any time other than the practical training hours. (First aid is face-to-face.) So I didn't have to get up early in the morning and come back late at night, which was a bit tiring.
For example, if the practical class started at 10am, I would wake up at 9am and then take the written class whenever I wanted after it was over; I even had time to take a nap.
I had about two days until the provisional license test and about three days until the full license test, so I had pretty much free time and was able to study at my own pace for the test.
When I got bored of studying, I would go to hot springs or ride my bike to watch the sunset.
And the other day, I was able to graduate in as little as 13 days. The students who enrolled with me and the students who came before me all graduated in the shortest time possible.
I was enjoying every day of my easy life and it was so much fun that I was really sad when I had to go home.
Once I get my driver's license, I'll go and have fun.
Almost all of my friends have licenses so I can't recommend this Driving School, but if you've read the reviews and are interested, I would say you should choose this school if you're undecided.
Thank you for your help❤︎

Instructor: There are good and bad things, but you can eat to the point of bursting at the seams.
If you go outside the curfew, you can go to the hot springs as much as you like.
I would definitely come back here again if I were to get another license.
Thank you for your help

In the first half of the day, I was very anxious because I didn't understand the system of the driving school, but I gradually got used to it, and in the second half, I was able to enjoy myself. As for the driving school, the cars are extremely old. The receptionist and the instructors have a huge difference in their attitude and enthusiasm for their work. It can't be helped, as some people get along with others. However, with the exception of a few people, everyone is nice, so I'm glad I went. I learned a lot both in theory and in technique. As for the hotel, the rooms are clean and you can eat hot meals. The people in the cafeteria and at the front desk were all very nice, and it felt like home. The hot springs were also very pleasant, and helped me to relieve my fatigue and work hard the next day. I'm glad I came to this driving school because I gained not only skills and knowledge, but also memories.

The reason I chose Goikyo was because of its reputation and the fact that I could use the hot springs as much as I wanted.
繁忙期の合宿の値段はすごく高いです😢
I haven't been to other driving schools so I don't know, but I felt that there was a huge difference in the quality of the instructors.
As written in this review, Toyoshima and Isoguchi are said to be scary, and I didn't like them either. I always hoped that I wouldn't get hit by them.
I was annoyed by his arrogant attitude, and when he asked me a question suddenly and I couldn't answer right away, he would speak to me in a cold, harsh manner, or even not give me an answer.
During lectures, I had a hard time concentrating because of his strong speaking habits.
On the other hand, the ones who were really helpful were really kind and taught me until I understood even when I was confused and didn't understand, and they gave me detailed instructions with illustrations in my lesson notebook!
I felt very relieved when he spoke to me when we met at the driving school.
I think it's better to be careful because the instructor's behavior will affect the student's driving and future motivation. In fact, I also had a bad experience when I encountered a scary person.
The facilities and the training vehicles are old and have hand brakes lol

It's helpful to have a shuttle to and from Goi Station.
Driving Camp is just a 3-minute walk from the smooth Kuroyu hot springs.
It's nice to be able to stay at the Goi Hotel
